The Empire always had plenty of formidable, insidious, and cruel enemies. Each of them were dangerous in their own way, but not one has yet been successful in their villainous ploys. Even temporary alliances were powerless against those who were united not against the enemy but in defence of their native lands, their own home, and for those who adorn it; for honor and duty, and the ideals and virtues of all those with a goodwill. The Empire’s defenders have always been renowned for their unity and cohesion, which can only be compared with their selfless valor, which many hordes of enemies have met, and countless more will be shattered against!
Lords and Ladies, today our lands celebrate the glorious holiday of the Empire Defender Day - and She, like a true Lady, congratulates all those who embody this bright and valiant image, sung by an endless array of legends and songs. In accordance to the long-standing tradition, it is customary to greet this day with a shield in hand guarding the northern borders, in places of many illustrious battles and heroic victories! Therefore, the guards of the frontier once again call on all Lords and Ladies of combat level 5 and above to arrive at one or adjacent to one of the northern regions of the Empire, and help deter the imminent enemy attacks expected at any moment.
Victories in border combats, in addition to the listed rewards can also grant 2 gift cards which can be kept or given to any male Lord. More gift cards can be obtained from imperial shopkeepers for gold or diamonds. Gift cards will remain in character information until the end of February. In order to maintain general combat readiness, all of the Empire's taverns will be handing out free recovery drinks.
In addition, so that none of the gift cards earned go to waste, the Hunters Guild will give +0.25 guild points for each gift card sent (not more than 20 HG points in total).
