AuthorGoblin gambit
The most ordinary of events can sometimes give a seasoned lord pause — one need only look at them in a wider context. In a moment of doubt, experienced warriors turn to the magic trio: "Who?", "Where?" and "When?"

So it was this time. Having received a report of a goblin attack, the guardian Trevor paid it little mind at first and tucked it beneath a stack of more urgent messages. But then he stopped to think and went rummaging through his scrolls. Of course, goblins had been raiding the settlements in the Wilderness, slipping through the imperial border patrols. But they usually did so by night, in small groups. This report, however, spoke of an attack by sizable warbands, in broad daylight — and what's more, those bands were made up of goblins from different tribes. Something here didn't add up… Perhaps it would be wise to send someone to protect the locals, and quickly.

Valiant lords and ladies, the villagers of Lizard Lowland call upon volunteers of combat level 5 and above to help repel a goblin attack.

Important additional information:
The Empire has allocated 2 days to eliminate the threat and an extra 2 days afterwards to finish up and polish your boots. Five encounters will become available on the first day, and the rest on the second. Each defeat weakens the enemy, but at the same time it reduces the gold reward for the current and all the following opponents. All equipment can be utilized, however the strange magic will block the function of artifact enchantments. Remain vigilant and wisely use your stamina to avoid battle exhaustion!
