An era has come to an end. The gilding has fallen away, revealing the long-forgotten purple beneath, still radiant with the same majesty it bore in ages past. The cheers and jubilation of the crowd, hurling taunts at the defeated, have drowned out everything else: the bitterness, the disappointment, and the full tragedy of the moment. The Griffin descends from the throne with pride and nobility. Defeated, yet fully aware that no ruler reigns forever, and the Manticore must never forget that. Long may she reign!

The battle was truly one for the ages! Without exaggeration or empty praise, both sides fought with honor, but there can be only one victor. This year, the Manticore's ranks proved their superiority, claiming a decisive victory both in points - 2 vs 1 - and in total victories (16,574 vs. 16,510). Warlord Grammith and the dwarf chieftain Tolgar give thanks to all for partaking in this noble martial occasion!
All Lords and Ladies who have earned at least 3 victories shall receive a positive temporary effect until August 18 inclusive:
Lords and Ladies of the Manticore’s team +15% to faction skill points;
Lords and Ladies of the Griffin’s team +10% to faction skill points;
and furthermore a banner icon of their team in their character’s achievements.
Those Lords and Ladies who have won all 30 victories shall be rewarded with a special order of their team!
In honor of the Manticore band’s victory, their banner shall hold a place of honor above the main gates of the Empire’s Capital throughout the entire next year!
Moreover, all who have won at least one victory shall receive 3 buns as a reward for their bravery:
The buns must be used by October 1st.
