| For the first few days, aim for maximum difficulty to get a head start. I always begin with ranged units, eventually adding a few tanky troops to frontline for them. |
| and when do you upgrade and buy ships/cannons? what is a good level to upgrade them too? |
when battles became easy and you reached the maximum recruit count better to upgrade the ship
for me buying cannons is considered after upgrading the ship 2 times at least to get reasonable recruit count for each pirate unit |
