They say that when the harvest ripens, the first fruits are the sweetest. A debatable claim, but who would argue with common lore? Especially when it lies at the root of a whole string of rather pleasant traditions. Take, for instance, the pumpkin pie fairs that the people of the Empire hold year after year in very nearly every corner of it. The largest of them, though, is traditionally held beneath the walls of the Capital, where many thousands of happy lovers of pumpkin delicacies gather every year. And even the glorious Lords and Ladies do not always pass up the chance to honor it with a visit, to taste the sweet pies for themselves in the respite between great battles.
Esteemed Lords and Ladies! In the days ahead, beneath the walls of Empire Capital, the traditional pumpkin pie fair will be held — and every one of you who has already won renown and reached the 5th combat level may pay it a visit, should you wish, and even take part in the local amusements and contests!
Important additional information:
The fair will last only 4 days, through the 29 of September inclusive. On the first day, only the starting 6 battles are available. Beginning with the second day, all 12 battles will be available. Each defeat weakens the enemy's strength, but at the same time it lowers the gold reward for defeating them and every subsequent opponent. You may fight in any equipment, but to avoid accidental casualties and needless destruction, the effect of modifiers will be blocked. Stay vigilant and spend your strength wisely, so that combat exhaustion does not overtake you!
Seasoned wanderers say that the road to the sweetest pie can sometimes prove far longer than it seems — and that you may wear out more than one pair of boots along the way. Thus, all those who make it to the end and emerge victorious in the final, 12th battle will receive a special reward, among other things — 2 parts of War Boots. Who knows where else this fair may lead you…
