finding it difficult to win a battle at lev 11
my shrews seem to disintigrate after there 1-2 go my hydras are slow my lizard are easily killed and it leavs me with only my minataur soldiers

You just need a lot of MORALE; Yes, YOU (Psychologicaly) and morale in your troops, and just try. Shrews with morale should have lot of effect in the fight, having broken their defences for you and your mate easy win.
At the beggining its hard, but believe me, you ll end up winning |

And dont forget to put permanent Rally as talents, DEs recruitment is low, so you need it, + it gives you morale.
Then best choices for leftover points are Battle Fury or Tactics depending on situation. |
de is terrible 1vs1 imo... you need to do 2v2 where opponenets cant hide from shrews(1vs1 they can go 1 corner and maybe 1 stack of shrews doesnt hit them on first turn) and i would say rally+tactics talents if you can get them with your current talent points. Also, when i pvp'ed as de on lv 12-13 with this char i usually split shrews into 2 stacks and had 2 stacks of dark witch for delay... it is really good having up to 4 delays on enemies.
Also, hydras are useless imo.. maybe go as few of them as possible and get other troops. Thier damage, innit move speed all suck. they get 1 shot by pretty much anything also.. better have more damage from other units |

By "Points" you mean help in recruitment? Since you have no talents till lv 5
Max Rogues, as you have now, their speed/initiative kills easy at your level, you just need to think your moves.

Btw, do you think this is pointless, or useful?
1. Getting 24 poisoner and 36 minos, instead of 48 minos, in order to shoot small stacks/shooters down.
2. Striving Speed, at the cost of Rally (I dont think its a good idea)

depends on how u use them 24 poisoner wont make much difference at this level good for knocking out rather weak units or retailed ones
bows gonna end them with 1-3 shots
but they are good, keep a strong unit close to it and they do their stuff :P |

go 1vs1 with holy knight u will see the difference :D
usually keep attack target 16
knowledge and sp 3-3 or whats good for u split witches u get haste they get delayed ur minos with 3 morale = good chance of getting morale if u dont wait or end up making the wrong move <getting 'em killed>
since u already have max offense u r aiding ur team while increasing ur chances to win
dont know about 1x1 i guess best to avoid rest

to ipsen: i have seen several de's go rally talent, take max poisoners, hen max leftover shrews, then max minos or liz's then hydras and dark witches. this build doesnt give you as many shrews, but you will still have about 75 % of them and yo will have ~50 poisoners to take care of enemy shooters along with dark witch.

actually it does suck. maybe if you could get rally with it but without rally youre troops are laughable. pretty much useless in full AP fights because every1 gangs up on DE and you hardly have any troops |
