think about shadow barb verus darkness demon.... their spells are stronger while we are more tanky they can just drain mana easily out of us.

for woodbox:
well, i think CL 15 is much better than CL 14 for shadow barbs because at 14, its definitely not the same case.
Honestly one big tank of ogres can be easily delayed and disrupted at about 5 init and all your mana is being drained by vermins which aren't easily to kill since you wont have any ranged units as shadow. basically you need to have enough mana to cast mass delay on horses and fiends and mass curse aswell for 6 turns minimum before being sucked totally. But then again in CG we dont know what we are facing.
Of course different levels are different situations and i can talk only about CL15 since i met DD HK UN etc in this level.

Vermins dont this its a big problem, usually they have a small stack than can be redued with cyclops generalsand even you wont found vermins at all in some battles.

His spells are stronger its true, and they have unlimited mana with consume corpse but the mail point is this.

The main abbility for DD is his dark magic, Shadow barb have also a bit weak spells but they have tribal spirit!

Tribal spirit is the key, if you reach tribal 2 with ogres they are almost unstoppable.
Fast factions like red demons or DE can be a problem but ogres are much more tanky than expected with 80 hp and insane defense.

So we as dark barbs should keep alive our troops and the longer the battle the better cos we will have more spirit.

Its pretty easy to drop ogre's defense once they are delayed... compared to DD initative, also DD can always get 2-3 horse attacks on ogres which will cause fear... but yeah gotta see how it does in 15 :)

how do we cope with the factions such as dwarves which have magic and runes and heavy stack numbers & other factions in lvl 8 and 9 without any magic or any other faction skill...?
can anyone suggest me any talents for level 10
126: Cant remember back at those lvls, I guess barbs began to shine at PvP at lvl10 ondwars when they have orc chiefs. I'll try an aproach of max hobbos + ogres and try to keep the distance with orcs and protect ur big stacks to charge rune attack.

127: battle fury + advanced luck or expert offense + battle fury + cold blade are the way to go
I would suggest full offense like expert offense + battle fury and if talents remain cold blade
could you guys expound on the necessity of cold blade
What else would u get? With only orcs on ranged, archery is not worth it (would be when cyclops are added) and other offense subtalents are not better.

Another choice would be goin' only battle fury and spend the other 21 talent points on advanced luck, which I mentioned in my post too.
I have seen that most barbarians at lvl 8 take more hobgoblins and say it deals more attack than wolf raiders...
but every time my wolf raiders kills about half population of hobgoblins..
in retaliation it kills about 90% of my stacks...
why is it so even though i have so much attack,defense and almost double the hit points.... :(
Wolfs r targeted first than orcs as my experience says
And being large creatures they can be easily blocked
Hobs deal great damage like 2wice the strike of wolf
And depends what u prefer like both r great :)

guys are orc chiefs helpfull in lvl10??

i have seen most of the barb buying the upgrade and recruiting only around 6 or 7 orc chiefs whereas elven rock in that lvl :'(

orc chief is one of the best units in the game.Buy it, if you can afford it.

Take a look at the page 6, there's some advice there about beating DD's at lvl 13.
