yes puffin broswer has a option to force the keyboard to pop-up and
what do you guys think to making a new LWM/HWM app for android? |
I know, it works with Puffin, but Puffin doesn't work anymore on my cellphone. But I know that on better cellphones it just works with Dolphin and other browsers.
An app would be nice indeed, it doesn't need all options of the game, but it would nice if it could let us enroll in an easy way (without clicking and zooming too much, etc). |
Trouble for me is wherever the interface required clicking and zooming. Battle update is really very phone friendly.
As of now its kinda troublesome at times to travel. I guess except for that everything is well. Would be really wonderful to have a HWM App solely focusing on Enroll and Forum. I.e. making lite versions of them so that devices can load fast and only the required part instead of any graphics. (The health and mana meters)
Also it just struck my mind, might not be visually effective but can help in playing better on phones... a birds eye view of the battlefield with enlarged tiles (for the ease of clicking) and reduced animations solely for phones. Those phones with stylus work well, but with fingertips i usually end up touching the wrong tile. (Altho the new Ok and Cancel options are a marvelous thought) |

| I tried it on multiple devices, multiple os, multiple browsers but all of them are very slow in battles. Even on devices with 4cores cpu and 2gb ram. Enrolling and travelling is fine, but battle is too laggy, not enjoyable. Dont know how you guys play battles with smartphones... |

I play mainly from my Samsung Galaxy S3. I tricked Jelly Bean into letting me install native flash so it works with any browser including the one supplied with Android.
The only thing I am missing is support for scripts though these may work I have just not bothered trying to install them.
Combats, enrolling, etc are fine. The only annoying thing is using the sliders on recruiting page so anything the admins can do to make this more suited for mobile devices would be welcomed. |

At my working day, usually more then 12 hours i can not do any battle.
I alway use phone to enroll and get workaholic penalty.
My data usage are limited, if above simple battle cost less data usage, mayb i can clear the workaholic penalty.

I can say very less amount of data 5mb mayb.I too use mobile to do hunt or mgq to remove my workaholic penalty & my 1gb monthly plan is more than sufficient. so much unused data left at the end :( |
5Mb only? I'll try it tomorrow. :)
I alway used more then 1gb about 20 days, extra data usage too expensive :P
