AuthorWatchers` guild
for Lawton:
I think getting 3 stars first time is a challenge and is meant to be. I reviewed your last 3 Watchers guild battles and I think you would be able to get 3 stars on at least the dwarven grotto if you replayed it with a slightly differnt set up and tactics. Certainly I do not think 0.8 watchers guild and 2.5 ish fsp is bad for a reward of gold roughly equal to art investment.

However I certainly think the difficulty in terms of stars is quite variable depending on faction, critically liklihood of raising. I will explain hat I mean.

I play a dwarf and while I us a full AP set, it is not the best full AP set (eg rings of thorns not top end rings, and obsidian stuff for most things - good enought but cheaper), yet fairly frequently have got 3 stars first time, even without being Faction level 9 yet at dwarf(low for a level 14). The reasn I think is primarily that the level of army left to get three stars I believe to be based arond the evel of army left when other people previously beat that battle. Now for a dwarf it is less likely tht in that battle they set out with a plan to try and ensure they had as many troops left at the end. I usually hold back my runes on my two most numerous stacks, and raise them just before I win. When the win is in the bag I still play conservatively to maximise tropps left rather than playing for sped.

This is different to how someone would play in an event to which the difficulty is based. IF they knew they would win they would charge in to save time, they wouln;t bother to activate the resurrection rune on the turn that they win, nor wait with troops till they were able to ressurect, consequently I finish my battle with more troops than a normal ending and so more likely to get more stars. I would expect (but do not know) that those factions with the ability to raise would do similar things, and so have a better chance of getting more stars. Consequently I think those factions with raising abilities should perhaps have different expectations (in terms of formulae ratios) compared to the others.

As to the gold reward proportional to difficulty, I would suspect a bit of both, but don't really know
for Slust:

yes, the 900 gold is easiest, 1000 is moderate,1100 and up is difficult
I would expect (but do not know) that those factions with the ability to raise would do similar things, and so have a better chance of getting more stars.

All the troops have hp 100%.
Please explain the mechanics of Guild relative the Unholy necromancer.

Taken into account raising the dead, which could reduce the number of stars. Maxim (adm)

Sorry for google tr. :)
@Lord MilesTeg, I see and yes you are right about the dwarfen grotto, I used to try to do better before but lately I find the retry for just 0,2 points to be too costly especially when one is low on funds. Now I only retry if I get only 1 star.
Though some of the battles are too insane for 3 stars.
The gold seemed random to me, since a lot of times a 1k gold one was easier than a 900 gold one, once even being the same quest, so I considered the gold random.
I play all quests just once, regardless of the stars won.

Number of units and talents used are similar to real player's faction. But, Hero parameter(Arts worn)is almost twice than possible of shop arts.
(Hero Attack 39, Defense 41, Spell 3, Knowledge 2)

Think, I have to play with same amount of units. And also, half number of hero parameter. (Is there any shop arts possibly match to such battle)

It is really unfair. :D (Just to drain out player's game gold)

Unfortunately this is not quite true.

Check out this guy's stat:

http://lgnd.ru/mt30/info/id/109028/lvl/16

He's got Hero Attack 39, Defense 40, Spell 0, Knowledge 0 at lvl 16. And you can see that he has NO talent that gave him extra stats. And it clear that he wears ALL standard mighty arts because he has 0 SP/Knowledge.

BUT the AI hero you encountered has "endurance" ability which gives additional 4 defense and it wears Firebender robe (because it only has 5% melee resistance) which gave +1 spell and +1 knowledge. Also it wears Firebender mantle (which gave the hero 15% ignore magic resistance).

Therefore if IMMORTAL wears the same art and use the same talent, his stat will be 39/44/2/3, and he will have 3 more stat than the AI hero.

It is not unfair :P
If that true, could you send a profile link of any level 16 player with shop arts. Only the player's profile with full shop arts of game link. (Not any-other website links)
for TheKnightsss:
I have 40a 40d 4p 4k in minor tour.

lvl 16 player with full mighty shop art, no extra stat from talent. 46A 33 D
From the hero examples given I can conclude only one thing: So in other words the AI has every factions skill at 12 and is almost maxed out in hunters guild, commanders guild, mercenaries guild, thiefs guild and probably now this new watchers guild as well.

I even ran into an unupgraded goblin stack that normally has an initiative 10 to have initiative 12,5 which means the AI has 25% bonus initiative, yeah it really sounds fair, and no it did not have artifacts on him that only gives initiative, otherwise it wouldn't also still have way higher stats as well.

Let's face it, all we are doing is playing catchup to the AI. But don't worry just when you think you have caught up, they will introduce something else that will put the AI a few steps ahead again. The old carrot and the stick method. Ofcourse every time they do this it results into the AI becoming harder for new players that have yet to do any of these guilds, so no wonder it's become unattractive for new people.
for Lawton:
12.5 initiative is normal for a 10 initiative creature of a standard pvp player.
for Lawton:

HG8 LG10 MG7 is kinda standard for any LWM player at lvl 16

I still need 9M exp to reach lvl 16 and I am already very close to this standard now

Try to do the math and think about how to build your char wisely and defeat AI using your tactic. Whining never reflects nicely on you.
@RevolutionRebel, since it is so normal then how come I and more than half the players don't have it? Even my lizards with base initiative 11 came up to 12,2 and had less than those goblins. Keep in mind that I'm lvl 14 so having faction skill 12 like the AI would be ridiculous, and don't come with examples of exceptional players that do, one has to look at the whole picture not point to only a tiny corner of it.

Even the AIs sprites and forestkeepers go first before my shrews now as well. And not just in watchers guild, thiefs guild and any other where you face an AI hero is the same since the new AI system. So it must have been nice for all the players that have farmed their buffs through the old system where it was way way easier. Try doing them now from scratch. It's crystal clear to me that the admins only looked at the extreme buffed players when designing this new AI system, not noting down that those players make out the exception in this game. So to make the game still challenging for hardcore players, they closed the door to the faces of new players. Had they designed the AI to always be a few steps above the current player playing the challenge then it would be challenging for everyone, instead they made the AI always to be a few steps above the exceptionable players no matter which player it faces. This resulted into becoming a challenge for the exceptionable players but near impossible for new players, so yeah good going by the admins for their lack of consideration.
@liuker, so I'm coming with facts and you call it whining?

And HG8 LG10 MG7 might be standard for a lvl 16 player, my point wasn't about that, higher than those lvl 16 stats is allready standard on a lvl 14 AI which was my point.
for Lawton:

I see that you are mad about your low initiative.

But what I see is that As a lvl 14 player you only have TG1. This is way below average already.

You said your liz has 12.2 ini, that means you only have 11% ini bonus. Considering that DE10 gave you 9% ini already, you only used arts that give you 1% ini bonus or maybe 0. Which means you are not using the best shop arts

Sorry for my rudeness, but this is not admin's fault
@liuker, only at lvl 14 was I finally able to afford thiefsguild invitation, not all of us got labour guild at high levels to be swimming in gold.
I always play watchers guild in max shop arts, are you saying that I should play the thiefs guild at max shop arts allready at this low level of it? Did you? Ofcourse not, you benefitted from the old AI system so you have no idea how it is now when starting from scratch. It is clear that you are missing my point. And I am allready playing thieving with almost full shop arts.

By the way here are my stats at max shop arts: att 41 def 26 with 8% initiative, with my faction 10 skill added it comes to 18% initiative which still does not come even close to AI's 25% initiative.

But all of this aside it still does not make the fact right that the admins have made the AI challenging for exceptional players while making them almost impossible for normal players.

Like I said: if they had designed the AI to always be a few steps above the current player playing the challenge then it would be challenging for everyone, instead they made the AI always to be a few steps above the exceptionable players no matter which player it faces.
One more AI update to put them even a few more steps ahead just because the exceptional players have almost caught up to current AI and newcomers will need full rare sets from the getgo. With the admins catering like this then it is no wonder it doesn't attract any new players anymore.
for Lawton:

Saving or making money is part of the game. Most players that I invited to this game was able to afford TGI before CL 11.

Current AI is more challenging than before but it's still at an acceptable level and it still has significant weakness. If I were you, I would use the time that you spent in complaining to learn how to improve your skill.

AI is not supposed to be no brainer
@liuker, either you are missing my point or are avoiding it.
One, I was not complaining, I was making a point backed with fact, learn the difference. Two, I never said AI should be a no brainer, never try to put words into someones mouth but make a counter argument instead. Three, improving ones skill still does not take the fact away that the current AI has become too powerfull for people that has yet to start at any of it.

The new AI must be great for people like you that have all the guild levels allready around 8, which makes it challenging for them and takes their boredom away, but it's clear that these people have no idea how it is when one has yet to do any of them while facing the same exact AI as you.

And so far you still failed to mention anything about the fact why the admins did not design the AI to always be a few steps above the actual player playing that battle but instead made the AI always to be a few steps above the exceptionable players no matter which actual player the AI faces. The first option would have made it challenging for all players, while the last chosen option only makes it challenging for the few and impossible for the rest. And this is exactly what I meant with their catering.

But it's clear that I'm talking to the wind here since you have had the opportunity to take the fast elevator to up the guilds with the old AI system, while the new arrivals need to climb a sheer cliff to reach just the same with the current AI system.

Also since you are telling me to learn to improve my skill, here are some more facts for you: my combats fought 5,839 with 4,993 victories makes it 85,51% win quota against your combats fought 11,218 with 8,938 victories making your win quota 79,68. It is clear who is lacking skill here while even taking full benefits from advantages gained through the old AI system.
"I'm not stupid,I'm skillful, but I can't win while you can win easily.there must be something wrong, you must be cheating,ai be cheating, and admin be cheating.in a word, everything is wrong except me"
