I don't think it's possible with this troop size. I had the same battle a few times with normal troop size and that was kinda easy. All troops in corners and put all dark spells on them and kill him stack by stack. And if possible control something that can do a lot of damage. AI tends to control devils, but I have been lucky in the past and could kill a lot of fiends with his abyss demons. But I don't think you can control any other stack than devils with these numbers.

Anything special that you did to deserve that kind of enemy? I don't know if there is any kind of dynamic balance? I had a few hard days, but now I had all 9 stars. It's probably just luck though.

truely it is not easy to get 3 star, but to win it is quite easy. put horse and devil away from your main troops to avoid damaging yourself, defend in the first turn, debuff debuff debuff, try to keep fiends away from abyss demons, and it would be an easy win.
Lately I can't see the type of creatures anymore when it is a hunt quest. It just sais: 'Some whippersnapper hunters allowed the creatures to flee and band together into a considerable pack. Inhabitants of nearby villages ask the Watchers to defend them from assaults.'

And then either 2 or 3 different creature types appear devided in lots of stacks. Today it was the impossible combination Dreadbanes (154), Swordsmen (472), Shamans (830) one. The AI deviding them into 10 stacks nails it shut for any other useless attempts.

So has this become standard now that one cannot see the type anymore? Used to be I could at least see what the combination was going to be.

There are basically two types of *mixed hunt type* quests.
One with proper knowlegde of enemy, and other without it.

Use translator, since everything is in Russian.

Or... just change the quest.
If you have Abu Bakirs charm you can once per day instantly change one of the quests into something different.
It is a one of the time thing so keep your fingers crossed :)

I use it all the time, i do quests that i think i can finish, and if i get stuck i switch one that is the worst.
Usually hunt quest :)

It is a guide that burns cash and is only playable with your main faction. IMO it's purpose to attract players to log in every day gets completely destroyed by the fact that most missions are nearly impossible to do on sub factions.

What is the point of a new guild if only main faction can win?
Well, you get a very good fsp / exp ratio. If you win with 3 stars you also get a lot of fsp for just 500 gold (or so, 2/3rd of what full ap costs at your level). And I read that if you use a potion of skill you will get the average fl for your level - 1. This should be good enough to win most of them.

Admins clearly want us to burn gold, but it's a good way to turn gold into fsp. And at 10 - 15 fsp per day (for my level) it gets you to the higher faction levels a lot faster.

And the bonusses are also nice. Someone who plays every day and has a good win ratio on them will get +1 def within the first month, +1 stat point within the first three months and +1 attack after half a year or so. So this guild makes us a lot stronger.
Is there any way to get 3 stars on this one? It seems that their high defense and raise is to much...:

Generally high defence armies are best faced with magic - esecially if they are a slow faction like necros. I have never tried choas dwarf because of the high talent cost, but I think you will walk it with any combo from that talent tree. Also consider casting firewall sooner, then trying to link it up with judgement to double its damage.

Defense build is not useful there mate.
Try dark build, with mass delay and mass disrupt, curse whenever needed.
also, 'avoid charging b4 you debuff them'

IMHO, it was doable.

Cannon tastic! and therefore this changes your tactics. You objective therefore becomes defensive and counter attack - ensuring your cannons stay active and not over commitig your troops.

Comparatively their cannons are weak and so constitute a poor target.

Therefore consider the following points.

you should be able to place your troops so that the women corsairs can only hit the cannons. They will likely either kill one or move and rest on one - allowing you to counter.

Use cannons to shoot the filibusters they do more damage by far.

Consider putting a 1 stack (split shrews 79-1) to the right of your central cannon. The pirate fighters will then leap straight into your jaws, while not blocking any cannons.

If you dragons are moved one to the left they will not die on first turn. They can then block the left lane - to allow your cannons to get the advantage.

Rather cnversely for DE you are often better not atack (At least at first) and allow your cannons to take dominance.

dwarf stand no chance against this build, even when it is controlled by ai it will bring you a lot of trouble.

mino and ladon are useless in pirate battles, use poisoners instead to get rid of some shooters of pirates.
@Poison Ivy, odd that you get the exact same hunt quest that you have allready beaten. When I get the exact same they are increased to insanity level and have become impossible.
