Playing this event makes me just so glad to be part of a clan for most events and to team with people whom I can a) tak to easily and b) have a much much much greater chance of not having a build that sucks
Defensive Red knight with brutes and crusaders whom he waits with. You would think that after losing 30 out of 40 group battles and never having the same build as anyne else that it may twig that it is not very good!

I must seem like such a sore loser only posting when I lose. I am a bit grumpy at the moment I guess, but so frustrating that in an event when it is a clear and easy tactical position (all light armies have access to good shooting armies, while dark have several that will not take shooters of significance (DE and often tribal, UN)).
Consequently for this event if you can take a ranged army as light you gain the tactical advantage in most pairings and so are likely to win more than you lose. Isn;t this obvious to most people? Am I wrong in this conclusion? |
guys,you whinning about Bw,but if there is a faction who is OP,especially for this event,its definitelly DD
if you are caster,they suck you with vermins,if you are mighty,they take control over your troops and rest will be debuffed deadly
i dont wanna complain,but from all enemies i met,no matter if i was caster or might,this was bad for light side
no DD,almost sure win
Konan is right,most of dwarves i was playing with(they vere lvls 16 usually) sucks badly in these fights
btw my score was 30/39,6 fights lost with dwarf if i remember well |
DDs are maybe good for high levels.
At my lvl range, 10-14.. DDs sucked.
If you face elf ahead, DD is a plain meat.
Sharps kill temptress, then only fiends left which dies too.
Even BW aren't as much effective as compared to Elves at this level.
95% of my defeats are because of Elf opponent. |

The lgnd is the best fan site for those who loves the pvp in this game. The link I gave you list the last 100 duels of the battlewise wizards of the combat level 16. There you will see a table. The first column have the date and time of the combat, the second has the name of the battlewise wizard and his fsl and the third column has the opponent and his fsl. In front of the name of the players is a symbol. If the battlewise has a magic rod, that means he have a high ammount of knowledge and spellpower... so, probabbly he will be using that dominion of fire talent.
Choose a battle, and click on the date and time. It will lead you to another page. There you will see the details of the combat: the stats of the players, the troops, the talents, etc. Above the players's names, there is a link starting whith a '#', which ends with date and time. Click on it, you will see the replay in the .ru interface. If you want to watch it on the .com interface, just copy the warid and open it here... |

Finished the event in morning (relief) But one of my worst score I guess. Thanks to dwarves including myself ;p
The 1st day with enchant they r like hot knife cutting through butter but next day lol.. wasted PoS (except the WG)
Shooters are not at all effective to kill temptress (even not 20%)
Without any off talent melee units are also useless against high def opponent.

| I fought against two tamers earlier with a charmer elf (me as BW with dominion of fire), thought it would be straight forward, and cut through them. And indeed it would not have been too bad, except for invisible stacks running around hiding. Too much time was spent runnign around not able to kill the only remaining stack that was invisible and consequently getting killed by spiders that would just be resummoned again. One stack from each army managaed to stay invisible the full 3 turns, if we could have found them it would have been a different story. It was a good tactic that tought me a valuble lesson - if you cannot kill the stacks that can go invisible straight away, it may be neccessary to charge in while you know where they are to find them even if normally this would be unwise! I guess this tactic becomes even more significant the bigger the battle ground, not sure what it woul dbe like for a 3 vs 3 or 6 all vs all. If they went invisible when it was a bit more open then it would be a nightmarre trying to find them! |

I can't believe how many mistakes my opponent made this game. I shot shrews and witches first turn, expecting him to block 111 centaurs, oh well he didn't, but I thought that wasn't such a big deal. Then throughout the game I tried to communicate and he kept ignoring. Then when he used retribution on invokers he had two spots, one completely safe and one right into enforcers' mouth... and guess where he went =.= At least I gave both invokers and bears stoneskin so he didn't get wrecked. Then when centaurs where in the middle of the battlefield blocked by invokers, he moved invokers away so that they could shoot :/
We still won bears are just op and I contributed quite a bit(a lot tbh). What I don't get is why are there so many high level players who can't even even play average... not to mention they all happen to be on the light side :P |

dark player seems more smarter and tactical, the faction they play itself required high skill to play. DE concern where they place troop, red demon control 10+ stacks, tribal maintaining spirit and ATB bar, DD decide what unit to seduce and debuff, etc

| Any DD here whom has use the seduction ability recently? Not sure if it's a bug or (hopefully not) a new feature. In my last battle, my controlled unis went automatic to a FB stack and hit it, though it was my intended target after gaining control of the uni, I am sure I did not manually click the FB stack but rather unis went on its own way. |
