| Hi, I restarted the game and found out a new class and wanted to try it but I wonder if its a good one since I dont success with level tournaments... I know I'm not really good at the game but it feels easier with other class like Knights, Magicians or Elves... Did I miss an important things with pharaoh or the class isnt good ? |
I only used pharaoh for hunts and mg at low level when everything is still easy. It doesn't seem to be super strong at low level and the black scorpions are too squishy, so it is almost never used other than to bait enemies.
You will get a power spike after upgrading the dune raiders, camel riders and moon priestesses, which is where the strength comes in due to resurrection. |

depends what your ingame goals are.
pve? Pvp?
for pve pharoah will never compare to elves dark elves and barbarians
in pvp they are quite strong as buffer/debuffer due to cheap mass holy and dark spells
at level 8/9 they are quite strong as mass decay build and with 3 stacks of priestesses casting -12 attack weaknesses on everything and +9 attack buff on allies
this being said no class will ever compare to classic knight/necro up till like 15-17 in pvp. these two classes just beat you down with insurmountable health pools of their armies going up to 2x total army health compared to some factions, especially since they gain more troops with high faction levels.
due to this fact you see a LOT of restarter/alt characters on low levels that are maining these two classes and absolutely stomping cg with absurdly high faction levels for their resective level. |
| Yeah for now on I just PVE and its easier with Knights, even if I'm only level 2 with them and 5 with Pharaoh I feel that overall I do more damages and tanks more with Knights troops, maybe I'll go pharaoh later on but for now I'm glad that I switched to Knights, thanks for the feedback it helps me confort with my choice ! |
