Author | how did Poisoner starts before leprechaun |
at the beginning of this LeG battle you can see that poisoner start first
while Leprechaun have more ini by 1

Just unlucky ATB positioning I guess, units have 0 to 10% random deviation in positioning. So if leprechauns have 0% deviation (13 ini) and poisoners have 10% (12*1.1=13.2 ini), poisoners will move first |
As above, there is a 10% random deviation at the start of combat.
Think of it as a race on a 400m running track, everybody runs laps but at the start some runners start in front of the line. Runners can be placed between 0 and 40m in front of the start line based on random chance.
Eventually the faster runners will lap the slower ones but some of those slow guys will be near the front for the first lap. |
Thats called game bug :) I have seen many times. |
for ScylluaDarkhope: no it is an intentional game feature so that games arent won instantly by who has the higher innitiative. there is some variation due to design otherwise the elf with .1 more ini will always beat the other elf in 1vs1. Same with barb and de etc. this 0-10% random variation in start innitiaive allows slightly slower enemies to "outspeed" the typically faster enemies and add an element of chance to start atb |
Perhaps it should be changed to 0-5%. |

Or -10% to 10% :P |
@slayerofall
Okay, but i think its still unfair and ruins any tactic. |
