I got base spell power 3 + 1 (bonus building) + 3 (arts) = 7.
I can spell spikes (36 damage) and kill ~3 druids, or magic arrow (80 damage)and kill 6 elfs, but hero moves too late, after almost all units.
Next round? not for hero, druids and/or elfs kill minos, and my hero defeted. | 80 damage - kill 8 elfs
p.s. there is possibility edit post? | | If you stop whining and play the game, then you'll learn more on how to take down an elf... And if you can't then just quit the game, cause stress isn't good for you to hold. Now go out and play, dont whine, and/or quit the game. Stop trying to prove a point if a character is imbalanced cause no one really cares... cause they are all out on the battle field trying and/or winning. The higher levels you are, the easier to take down a possible imbalanced faction. Get used to it, all games will have one until things called patches come out... | | Or you can be super cool and just play this game for its card game... that way when you lose you won't have the ability to say that the other character was imbalanced. No use in using your brain, the game is all about chance so good luck on your guy's compromising situation... | | OH and I just learned that if you play as elf and get the experience as being an elf you know the Elf 3 thing, then it lowers the damage of there attacks by 3% per level in that faction... so you know stop whining and learn about the game before you judge the imbalance/balance part of the game... Knowledge is power, thats how the USA won WWII they dropped the bomb taking Japan out of the fight therefore taking away germany's chance of winning... | This games balance appears to be strictly connected with level, making winning against specific classes on specific level quite hard (if not impossible when playing against skilled opponent - like winning with ~5 level elves with necros or DE). If I understand devs (and high level .ru players) correctly, it appears that when you reach certain level you should be able to fight with other factions on (nearly) equal terms.
Cutting long story short - do I understand correctly that the initiative issue is not an issue on higher levels? Still, even if that's true - has anyone considered maybe making the lower levels more... well, equal? Not redo the whole race(s) but for example reduce lower level bonuses?
Ah, and as for #67 - Germany surrendered on May 7, and The Bomb was dropped on 6 August 1945. The war was over for Germany when that happened. I'd say it was rather supposed to convince Japan that even suicidal tactics won't allow them to hit US hard enough (sorry, no major invasions anymore) and also take away soviet chances of victory against allied powers... (Those lvl 5 US... Can't kill them with my soviets!) | Come on, people! absolute balance is possible when everybody on the server are playing the same faction.

You are not right. If my spellpower = 0, I can raise only 120hp. it's about 30 scels, 15 ghosts or 4 vampires. Do you think, it's too much?...

and yes elvs are too strong any one looked on russian server about 80% in top 20 is elv | Is this the russian server? Im not sure but I do believe that people speak Enlgish relatively well here, unless there is a automatic translator going on, if there is then this statement is completely false and should be taken out from the forum inquery...
But comparing a game to a different server is like comparing gears of war to like starcraft...
Starcraft is an older computer game, so not as good graphics and the game play of it is a rts game...
Gears of war is a Xbox360 game and has the better graphics and better gameplay unless you like the rts over tps.
Your opinion is yours, don't try to convert me to rts games... but yeah back to the point... what happens on other games doesn't influence other games...
If you believe this is like the Russian server then simply talk to the moderators/game creators... and if they beleive that elves are too powerful then ask them to bring out a patch, don't continuaslly argue over it with a one sided mind...
Some races are extremely potent against elves, and in group battles the elves will (always) be the first ones to be killed... And like I said if you play as elf and get the damage reduction for the experience as playing as an elf then you wont have to worry about their damage cause its cut down quickly...
but yes the favoured enemy and the double shot for the bowmen are a very powerful enemy, but you're never saying that when they are on your team... don't argue unless you are going to play group battles with the race not on either team. Elves are one of the more dominate races on HW but they can be defeated, and yes I am an Elf but I also know alot about the game for only playing it for like 3 weeks now. | | i disagreed heroes on com and ru its the same game only different language that all its like comparing starcraft in English version to starcraft of Russian version thats all | Gears of war And Starcraft are two very different games yes, but not as good as an example that would be needed to convince people of the pros/cons of elves...
When you play as elves yes the more experience as elf you get the more damage reduction you would get but also some people find it unholy to play as the race/faction that they so blindly hate and despise...
When you find that no one can be persuaded you find that you will be in the middle of a war, no matter how big or small, it will still be a war, between imbeciles who can't think for themselves and the more intelligent ones who can think and decide for themselves...
This is a post that wants to modify the game, or atleast change some characteristics of it, like low levels, yes the game is hard when you are low levels but isnt that the point of playing a game, for a challenge? To get a point through to people they have to be sent back to the basics of why they are even trying to play the game. Usually its for two reasons, the first one being the game is fun, and they enjoy playing it, the second, which is the most used reason for playing, is to become the best, or atleast have a win/lost ratio that people admire...
Dont join a game to think its easy, and let people decide what they want, for when you mess with people that can not be persuaded its like hittin a brick wall with your fist, you wont be able to crumble or move it no matter how hard you punch or how hard you simply want to move it...
This game is rigged in the eyes of most, but some of them are trying to convince others that if they ban together and all switch to the faction that is supposidly rigged that things will change, maybe it will, most likely not, but maybe and thats all you have to go on, is the chance to change what you think is unfair. But when you switch you will be playing as the race you think is rigged and yet again itll come down the damage reduction, and when you switch back the elves wont be powerful enough because of it, and with that no one will be playing as elves because they will be extremely weak...
so yes switch and find that soon elves wont be much to mess with, cause soon afterwards there will be no elfs to meet. | They are two different set games, if everyone played as demon on russian servers and everyone on the us servers or what ever they are played as necro then you would join one of them because you favour what they play with. But... If you found that demon was rigged in russian server you would switch to the us server, and you would play as demon on here, only to find that necros are the most powerful and you decide that you arent capable of winning against them...
So what do you do? Do you either quit the game, or simply play as the so called "rigged" race? Its all the same question as I put up before, they are different but you make them into the same, if you dont like elves then dont play with them, simply join duel games and write down no elves, but in group battle you have to just quit playin it until the elves give up or simply play with the offbalanced race.
But still stop argueing like what ImHereWithYou says because a bunch of you arent sounding all too smart with what accusations you throw at the elves, if you simply read up on the game youll find that any race can take down another race... and if you cant beat the race out of what like 10 times then learn the strategies that stop the elven bowmen from attacking, like switching to barbarian and use their axe thrower to knock down the elven bowmen then use the wolfriders to take down the forestors or the rest of the archers... | | Wow I guess I got last word... | the promblem is simple elfes kil other faction before they can touch druis archers ,and this the problem nothing else.
