Raise dead

raising dead should have the same effect like gating. when a necro raises a unit and its the last unit standing - he sohuld loose.

necros are overpowered
Who is realy overpowered now - are knights. 10 griffins! On -ru server knights are loosers on 5-8 levels. But here they are cheaters! Nobody can defeat knight 1x1. In group battles wins team, where is knight. I think knights must be weakned...

I look combat log of Ion, he doesn't always win in group battles
Maybe with perks will come real balance=)
Speaking as a necro, I can honestly say that I believe the undead to be a bit weak if anything. Joined necros as they are usually the group I go for in any game, and thought it would be a nice learning curve as the guide says they are for 'beginners' - but will persist with them even though they have a lot of weaknesses. These include:

1) Low HP
2) Very low initiative
3) No ranged attacks early on
4) Two weaknesses on the 'raise dead' ability as it gives an HP penalty AND it can't be cast on remains which other units are treading all over :(

So technically our only bonus (raise dead) is beaten with a stick at both sides. I really think we should be allowed to resurrect units being stood on as Demons can still use their gates when being stood on.Maybe thats just me ranting as a low level (2) necro and not winning - maybe there are better things to come! In general though I find them very difficult to win with at the moment, but that might just be me being a newbie :(

These abilities were tested for ONE YEAR on .ru server.

I played there as a necromancer for a while, and the best thing you can do is: Do not allow your enemy to run over your dead units. )

BTW: On level 5 the "weakness" of hp penalty becomes a strength. Vampires need to suck less life to raise more of themselves. ) Trust me, your time will come.
Sorry - wasn't meant to be a rant - people hit on the undead and I'm just sticking up for my necro friends :)

I'm looking forward to Vampires, but they are a long way away for me. I just get passionate about games I get into, lol! I couldn't stop myself once I got started.

It's possible to beat a knight from lvl 5.

OMG LOL))

I'm DE..knights are not realy powerfull...i had 2 duels... and i won both..so knights are not overpowered
7. It is forbidden to create topics with suggestions to weaken/strengthen any unit, artifact, faction.
