Some quest? perhaps :)

perhaps some quest will be good to attract more players :) beside the quest, some NPC might be needed to add in for trigger or/and end a quest too.

just make the quests with some condition to trigger, in progress and finish. for example:

Quest: goblin slayer
Description: (story line or something)
Objective: kill 20 goblins or above
Faction applied: all factions
Faction lv needed: none
Combat lv: none
Guild and lv needed: hunter guild 0 or above
Progress: 10 goblins remained
Reward: 20 golds, hunter guild point 0.5

progress show how far for player had reach. perhaps some quest can trigger by complete other quest too.

reward of quest can be golds, resources, guild point, combat point, temp increase attribute for a short duration, increase max units recruit, basic or advanced artifacts depend on how difficult and so on.)

the quest can add in to the top menu bar as a tab OR just merge into Character tab
also, quests can be repeat once per few mins, hrs, days, weeks, month or just 1 time per acc (this depend on how great is the rewards).

Is Mercenaries' Guild not enough?
the mercenaries guild quest and reward is different with this. quest of mercenaries is abit tough for lower lv player even the reward is good.

this suggestion was make easier mission, in return with lower reward.
these quest might be able finish in same location which doesnt need to travel to other like mercenaries guild.

also, different location might have different quest. from some easy quest such as deliver item, to some harder quest such as kill some creatures.
Your idea is something between hunter and mercenary guild..

We once had these quests at the .ru server, but excluded them later.
The thing is, a lot of players started violating the rules about combats.

3.16. Contractual combats leading one of the parties to losing a priori is prohibited. A contractual combat supposes that one of the parties intentionally loses to the other for any reason different from having technical problems with access to the game. Instigation to losing a combat is also forbidden.

3.20. Any kind of payment for combat is forbidden. Rewarding a player for losing or promising such reward for losing, entering or quitting combat will be considered as contractual combat. Payment for assist in hunt is not considered violation. Make sure to add corresponding comments to the transfer.


And that's exactly what started to happen. Let's say, the quest is to kill 30 goblins, but the player doesn't have them in hunt. What's the easiest thing to do? Right, to violate rules :))

Combats were created with one of the following descriptions:
-Barbarians only! Need to kill 30 goblins, as soon as I do, victory is yours. (3.16 violation)
-Barbarians, please! I need your gobs! I pay you XX gold for fighting me!! (3.20 violation).

Banning people didn't make the effect, as such combats kept spreading, so the Administration took the only possible decision to eliminate those types of quests.

And I'm afraid, I strongly believe that this experience won't let them introduce it again here.
