has anyone hunted lizard cubs? they rip me apart. sheesh. |

| When you get a random encounter (hunt) look at the colour of the circle in the dialog - green means you'll win, yellow means it will be a challenge, red means you will be something's dinner. |

my personal best so far is only 15 of them at a time.
i tried being defensive with them, it did not work too well tho, seems best way is still go aggro and try to wipe them out before they do the same. |
| I think the optimal tactics is to take up one stack and keep hitting it till you finish it off. If there are multiple stacks of them on the field, the damage increases geometrically. :( For the same reason I'm much more glad to encounter them divided into 2 stacks than into 5 ;-) |
you will be dinner for those cub before lv 2 :)my 1st hunt is totally a suicide, cant even kill 1 stack of them.
unless, you hunt hard enough and encounter those cubs with hunter guild lv 2 (that's what i did for my 2nd hunt on cub).
but, those cub should be your snack when you get lv3. my best record was 15 on them at a time as a lv3 knight, not face more than that until now. |

Also you should try to attack them from various angles - that helps a lot.
Sometimes it's even useful to open your archers. |
| Money given for hunting them are usually not comperable to efforts. They are too strong for such little sums of money... |
