More I play more I see polite and experienced players. But sometimes I see abuse or something even worse. I can understand and somehow forgive light abuse, but I can't ignore cowardness.
Here is the point - some players often create challenges 3vs1 or 3vs2 (with the same lvl players). Of course such cowards win, who would doubt it.
For example "hero" DinoTOR [http://www.heroeswm.com/pl_info.php?id=4311029]
He made unfair challenges 3vs2 over 5 times(i looked last page of logs, so probably number of such fights is bigger). Here is the list:

I totally agree.
However, I also think that it's up to each individual if they want to sign up to the "crappy side". Players have to start checking what kind of battles they get themselves into.
With that said, yes, creating a challenge like that is totally lame. -_- |

It's the easiest way) But I dont want to let him fool other players. The only problem is that I dont know how to show him that such way is bad.

He is probably 9-10yo child. Hardly made a reasonable move... The truth is that people should look carefully what kind of battle are joining. Ask yourself why there exists such an option when creating a challenge? I got myself tricked this way couple of times in .ru before I learned to look twice at the battle rules.
Anyway, I'd vote against opportunities like this when hosting a game. |
this people try to cheat they way to get easy experience by betting other players in not equal fight like (level 5) 1 player vs 3 players (level 1) or something.i think its unfair for those noobs to be beaten that way but hope they will learned not to go in battles like that.i think i have seen a battle with 1 (level 5) vs 3 lower level than him and it seems the luck was on the 3 players lower than him that day because they beat the demon level 5.it sure is tough but its a learning experience.i just hope that guys dont create battles like this and put tags like come dont be afraid when in fact its not an equal fight.
here an example of this:
3 (level 1-4) vs 3 level 1-4)
all in this side are (level 4) while in this side are 2 (level 1) and 1 (level 4).
so noobs and other players.stay away from this fights. |

how about penalty on stats for higher lv and bonus stats for lower lv?
also, how about penalty on exp n gold (or totally no gold n exp?) for higher lv if they win?
this could stop ppl bully low lv player |
I think there is already such a thing Pang. Lower level gets more exp and skill points while the higher level gets lower when he wins.
Anyway smoker, that player you were mentioning has done it sooo many times. He and a guild friend of his. go search if you wanna know who i mean. They are lucky they have Ion on their guild =) |

13 They don't because contractual combats are forbidden, as well as 2 characters participating in a combat from one PC simultaneously.
As to subj. Just my humble opinion: What Dino does is mean, but there is nothing wrong about that. What if e.g. a level 5 hero considers himself so great a warrior he wants to duel a level 6 hero - just because he's confident. It is his right, and the devs are not going to withdraw that right.
As to newbies being tricked - it has a good point (another humble opinion of mine). This will teach them a lesson to double check the challenge, then triple check it, and then join :))) |
ppl whit lets say 4 levels is he whants to play 3 vs 2 well the formula should be like this
an Random fight 3 vs 2 configuration
lvl player who create 3 vs 2 = X
lvl players that join his team .. lvl 4 or lower
lvl Y enemys team lvl X + 1 lvl Y = X+1lvl => Y = 4 + 1 => Y = 5 lvl
ex: player X = 4 level
then player y = 5 level
well the fight will be like this :
lvl 4 + lvl 4 + lvl 4 (or lower levels ) VS lvl 5 + lvl 5 fixed option lvl level
if he make 3 vs 1
lvl player who create 3 vs 1 = x
lvl player that joins his team .. lvl 4 or lower
lvl Y enemys team LVL X + 2-3 variable Y=X+1 or 2 lvl => Y = 4 + 2 or 3 > Y= 6 or 7 lvl
ex: player x = 4 level
then player y = 6 or 7
well the fight will be like this :
lvl 4 + lvl4 + lvl 4 (or lover levels) VS player lvl 6 or 7 fixed option lvl
i think that the combats when players play whit lower team to have an advantage .. players whit lvl 6 7 8 maybe dont have oponents 6 7 8 to play an game.. in this way they can fight whit 3 players low level..
ppl dont know that when u play whit lower teams or - 1 or - 2 players experience is very low :).. and good xp comes in a good fight :) instead of practice game team they play whit noobs players :)
maybe the formules could be modified.. but u cannot let 3 players lvl 4 to play whit 1 or 2 players lvl 1 2 3 or 4.. maybe someone didnot seen the combat mod 3 vs 2..:) i could enter ther by mistake and i cannot exit challange ..

I have fallen into this trap before when I was a lower level. I learnt the hard way. As you lot have been saying, I now double check what I am getting myself into. I think that there should be something, like in the 1vs1 battles where you can get away from the fight instead of being stuck there.
This will help lower level players noticing that they have done something wrong and can run away before they get mauled. |

Yes, such unfair challenges are numerous.
As we found out in this top there are several tricks cowards do to win for sure:
1.challenges 3vs1 or 3vs2 (with the same lvl players)
2.challenges aka "hunt assist" nlvl vs (n-1)lvl. For example look post 16(thanks bivaliy for info)
The moral is - look for challenge's info. We all want join a good fight or help in hunt, but cowards glad to catch us in a hurry.
PS. Its a pity there is no way to abort such challenge if you clicked to enter. |
