i think knight are the best faction.They have bowman and griffins(lvl5). :o) |
something you need to concern as a knight:
- griffin and bowman always die before they have chance to get other.
- farmer is a joke; recruit wont survive long enough either, unless you use pack of them to replace bowman.
- quite average or slightly low ini make knight lose most units before can start the 1st move.
swordsmen is the only will survive at most of time. in return, swordsmen will get enraged due to the other stack dead in previous. stunning need some luck, it isnt work like ghost miss (miss, miss, hit; hit, hit, miss; or vice versa). the only best advantage on swordsmen is the large shield, 50% less dmg from range. that's the key for you to get near those dangerous elves bowman or orc to trash them.
it is good that if you try to boost morale + castle effect. hope that your units can get more action to trash other before they do the same on you |
i think the best thing to do is stick with barbarians (becasue there wolf riders do strong double attacks) until ur atleast lvl 3-4 then switch to any other faction cause most other factions hav weak lvl 1-2 monsters. |
change faction is the worst thing you can do if youre lvl 3+ |
on level 4 knights have a good chance of winnning against elves... The level 5 is an issue i dont why we should change and waste our money which we used to spend on building and faction points. Lower the iniative of elves and it will be good. |

but wel after my opinion Elves are too strong in a quest i had to fight against grandmaster of bow 1 of them killed 6 vamps with 1 shoot and they have 2... |
I find that if you go head to head with knights with elf factoins they will def target your elf archers right off the get do after that your screwed granted if you get an opening to the swordman from a group of elf foresters charge them they can't fight that well at close quarters.
I also find with ghosts if you use bows on them the first volley will miss second time you will score some hits. |
sure necromancers and or necromantresses are hard but they get weaker than other links
lvl 1 unit skeleton easiest i think
lvl 2 sure quite hard but not that hard
lvl 3 unit sure missing is annoyind but only 13 we knights get 18 swordsmon up to 20
lvl 5 unit vampire/vampyre wow 30hp not annoying when they steal health but orges have 40 or 50 health and so do cavarly riders for drk elfs

Motar_demon1 , you are so wrong . I'm a low level necromancer and the skeletons are like cannon fodder to everyone except farmers while zombies are sluggish and uniniatiave . They take like to hits from the same character before they can respond . The reviving thing also reduces the hp of the revived by 20% . |
I can beat any class one on one at lv 3 and 4 as a knight. lv 3 faction (soon to be 4 :).) btw.
How I set mine up is I go full sword (24)
bowmen (21) and 1 farmer.
I then set up normally like this
Bottom left corner (numbers are bowmen stacks and their value, I don't split swords or farmers).

Of course if am fighting another knight, in group, FFA or vsing DE (spike spell). I set up differently.
The ghost count is this. you have a 50% chance to hit every time but, if you miss twice in a row then the 3rd attack will be a hit ([50%]miss,[50%]miss,[100%]hit) and if you hit twice in a row ([50%]hit,[50%]hit,[100%]miss). That means if am fighting a necro at lv 3 or 4 1 on 1. I'll split like this

That way as the ghost is coming at me. I can volley him with 1 if hes close to other or just shoot him till the count is a 100% chance hit for my 2nd bowman or even my first that way I can kill 1/2 of them before he reaches my sword, then I'll usually get the count so when its my swordsman turn hes in range and I can do a 1 hit kill. then I just have farmer camp it till my swordsman can :). pisses off the necros alot at times too :). benfit about having stacks of 1 archers is that you can shift + left-click to stab instead of shoot with them to take the retal from a ghost or enraged zombie :).
and to 51 and 48, the purpose of skeltons is cannon fodder, to take the retal away so zombies can attack freely, to block bowmen, to enrage zombies. Split the skellies up for best effect they will take more retal and protect your zombie while it kills the rest. Same strat for swordmen at lv 3 and 4. |
