How much Mana do you get for each point of Knowledge?

Do you learn spells automatically by leveling up, or does it depend on the Knowledge/Spell Power stats? If it depends on the stats, what are the requirements?

Aside from the obvious Knowledge stat(need mad mana for Raise Dead), what's the most important stats? Should I be raising Spell Power for later on, attack, or DEF(becuase Skeletons suck to no end lol. If it weren't for Zombies, it would be impossible to win a fight with Necromancers)?
10 mana for 1 point of knowledge
and for new spells
you need to buy them.
i do not know exactly what and where and how much
but for wizards, its a building in the castle at lvl 5

There 2 types of necromants:
battle-necros: 1-2 knowledge, the rest to attack. such necros are good since 5 level (it's checked in .rus serever.. here situation can be another)

usual necros: 4-6 knowledge, the rest to spellpower

PS. I think I'll take the traditional Necromancer path of having a relentless army of undead that keep being revived :)
