Was wondering what factions people like the most/least in the HWM world...so to go 1st I will rank them all from most favourite to least
1.Demons: Yeah well pretty obvious, for many reasons but my favourite at the moment is the spawns animation when they do flips ; )
2.Necros: I have a thing for the dark side and necros have my favourite creature of all time the Vampyre.
3.Dark Elves: In other games I have been partial to drak elves and here they are a nice race, with subtle perks like poisoners and strike return and with cool magic to boot. Also I love the ideas/mythology surrounding the evil underground elves.
4.Wizards: Interesting faction with the mini art ability, like the magic perks but units are a little bit boring, golems just dont do it for me ; 0
5.Barbarians: Always fun to watch a hack and slash style of play, but its not my preference, but damn those cyclopse look cool.
6.Knights: Just not enough fantasy/imagination in this race for me.
7.Elves: Never been much of a fan of this race in many fatasy games, units are a little bit stereotypical, plus the heavy focus on ranged units has no draw for me personaly as a fun play style. |

Best to worst. (Even if I'm unsure if we're ranking graphic or playability... So I rank graphic-wise. ^_^)
1. Necromancer - Dark gothic creatures, with a hint of cuteness.
2. Dark Elves - Conniving little creatures, with a hint of dark secrets and hidden power. The image of the bandit is great.
3. Demon - They're just cute. Sexy succubis, adoring little spawns, huggable demons, jumpy little puppies... And so on. ^_^
4. Elves - Beautiful creatures... Strong, noble, paleskinned.
Then I kinda put wizards, barbarians and knights in the same bag. Wizards is awesome when it comes to play though. Probably the best race out there. |

2. necromancers, increasing their army from the people they kill is an awesome ability.
3. dark elves, respect for the only race not pwning people up with the help of archers.
4. barbarians, By the power of grayskull!! :D
5. demons, i like the gating ability and yeh those succubi are easy on the eyes ;)
6. elves, god how i hate them but they have something for everyone so i won't put them in last.
7. wizards, they've just been made to seem so boring here... |

Def thnx for that but I know where to find that info and I was interested in peoples personal preference, as I imagine there are a lot of people playing elves because they are a strong faction not because they are their favourite.
Just look, funny how no one has put elf at the top of their list even elves. |
