Am I crazy? Me, Kotrin, herald of free play and power to players, asking for mandatory artifacts?
Let me explain!
In .ru server, from level 5 on, you have to carry artifacts in each battle. 5 AP worth of artifacts on level 5, 6 AP on level 6 and 8 AP beyond if I remember correctly. It's called the AP rule.
Of course, people hate this rule.
But I started to look at it with different eyes after my last 3-3 battle where, as usual, one team won the battle not through superior skills, but just because a lame guy went AFK.
I thought that, perhaps, people would care more if they carried artifacts?
It doesn't change a lot for serious players because they already carry artifacts. They do their best to win a group battle. Casual players acting without due consideration are not afraid by a -2 luck penalty for two hours. But perhaps they would think twice when facing artifact durability loss?
I only hope admins will be smart enough to introduce AP system FOR PvP ONLY.
