Hi, that is only level 1 - 3, perhaps no thorough enough.
Anyone have reference and descriptions on all schools' spell level 1 to 5?

the descriptions are taken from the HHomm game, where a spell lvl 4 and 5 does exist.
as such, the increasing skills in magic are not worth it if ye ask me (esp for the chaos school, ye be better of with erudition in spellpower for 'bang for bucks') | thanks for the input^^
could you show some calculation please. | lvl 1 spells and ice clod/ ice ring
every rank in chaos magic adds same effect as + 1 spell power on basic, and ye can get +8 spellpower and more mana from erudition.
lightning goes from 11 + 11/ sp to 14 + 14 per spellpower
spell power 10 bare = 121 dmg max chaos = 154 dmg
however, with points in chaos spend in erudition => at lvl 10 + 5 primary skills, equals 176 dmg add in more mana (intelligence) and the net result of + 8 spell power at lvl 12 (+1 skill per 2 lvl's and a +2 spell power from an advanced skill).
fireball is the same effect as lightning, thou you might not get it without basic chaos (not sure wether that is implemented)
it at about equals out in dmge when you put on full sp artifacts +8) and add all merc quest points in Sp (+3), still ye get more mona from erudition as a bonus, and lose out on the 1 turn less defence on fire. |
