| So I just leveled up to level three but I got no bonus and the little dude who was walking me through the beginning disappeared too... What's going on? | You became level 3, so you lost the tutor. (The help-guy)
The bonus you got when you leveled up would be one point to spend on your parameters (Attack - Defense - Knowledge - Power), and the option to build a new building in your castle.
