Hey, I think when the fight started you made no mistakes. You tried to kill one stack completely, so that the ability "pack attack" can't kick it. You didn't achieve it, but it was the right try.
However I'm not sure about your initial setup:
1) A few stacks of one forest keeper each might do you good to take away the cubs' retaliation.
2) This might not have helped here, but setting up your troops closer to each other might help against fast attackers. |

either you focus to kill 1 stack asap. or use aggressive stand, attack them before they get near to your troops.
AI had set priority to kill some units. you just have to figure out which unit was it |
