If you can repair 10 or 90% of art, it is still same repaircost. I currently can repair 40% of arts durability at repaircost. (so if you have an art (0/40) i can repair it to (16/39) (max durability drops 1 with every repair (40 -> 39)) |
it is so expensive to gain lvls in smit.
you get like 1 point for 2500 gold of repair costs
that means 75000 just to go to lvl 1

It's awfully expensive, but when you reach level 4 it starts to become interesting, or at least balanced, compared to selling and buying arts.
Now everyone is in the race to become the top smith, because when people start giving you arts for repair it's a snowball effect. If you are the top smith and have a decent repair skill, it's other player that basically pay for your skill points! |
| 8. Actually kiwi, it more like 4000 gold a point. I run a clan and we have decided that a good repairskill will be good for clan in future, so much of our gold has been used for repairing. |
