i play this game for fun as im sure 99% of you do as well....for me this has to be one of the best browser games ive discovered so far (i love HoMM games)....and believe me ive tried a few....SGW anyone?....but the amount of time required to level up by playing group battles never knowing if u get someone who afk's every 2 or 3 rounds is EXTREMELY frustrating....
i for one do not have the time to log on continously through the day....its a browser game...i log in to spend 10 mins max...i dont want to spend more than 30 mins wasting my time in group battles for instance (which i like in concept) because of people AFK'ing all the sodding time....then, which is even more infuriating i lose cos im on the team of AFK and get absolutely sod all experience....i dont need the faction points because as i say i log in frequently but in short stops....but can i get the experience as a casual logger in?.....errrr no
i appreciate that group battles will take some time and am prepared to devote to that when i have the free time say in the evenings....BUT im sooo put off cos of the huge amount of time it takes because of AFK's etc

however bad afkers are...i have to commend them sometimes also...i have just had a battle in which i thought i may lose, but the guy afk'd so i played as fast as i could and won because the losers troops toppled over and died ..i won 33 skeletons, not too much exp though, but it made me happy..
it was supposed to be a 3 vs 3 battle,but only he and myself turned up..

| even without afk's a group battle can take well over 30 minutes. During such time people tend to take toilet/coffee breaks which makes it longer. Dont start a group battle unless you have at least 45 minutes to play. If you dont you might end up as an afker yourself. |
| Tyveris, if you lack time, you can play at the tavern, hunt or engage in duels (faster than 3-3 group battles). Then you can achieve decent results in a short time interval. |
