Authorghost ability overpowered?
hey ppl, do u think that the ghost incorporeal is overpowered?
nope, just need some good tatic
remember ghost 2 missed in row and the next is 100% hit
and will not miss if use element spell

and and, step on it when it die, then you win :-)
prob is.... there are times when u can miss 3 in a row.....

i only think apparations are overpowered. They shouldn't have so much hp if you miss half the time. They should have like 12-15, not 19.
yeh ghosts are reasonable because of thei low hp but apparitions are gonna be hell
dont forget, when the time you meet apparations( controol by player), you should be at level 9 or 10, on that time all yor army are become stroger too...
there is no way you can miss ghosts 3 times in row
also, more hp for apparations means less of them will be resurrected.
some additional infos:
- magic will hit 100%
- BUT, magic will reset the miss/hit counter. because of that you thought it was 3 (melee) misses in a row.
- magic punch is counted as physical attack
- ressurected ghosts will have less HP, so they are an easy magic target

if no magic is available to counter ghosts, just use heroes and small (unimportant) units to attack ghosts. wait until you get 2 miss, than send in something big
apparations may be over powered but the fact they have more hp means necro cant rasie as much as a normal ghost i guess
im not too sure about necros when they use apparations but i remmeber a merc quest i had to face a large amount of them i dont think i even killed half of them (and they had about 5 in each stack of 12 different one) i just kept missing pretty much 70-80% f the time. So yeah I got obliterated =P

the only problem i face at level 5 is against monster thing and level 2 quest(the same quest that repeat 2nd time, usually it become harder:

oh, and the deliver, lol, sometime not even have to fight can also complete the quest :-)

Dun forget elves, their druid might help kill ghost as for now. But when some necro start making Apparations, it will be hard for them when the undead get them =D. Maybe its a good idea if necro just wear air resistance stuffs

Elf can get wasp swarm from both Sprite and hero.

so, what's the hard time for elf? combination of lightning + wasp = 100% hit on ghost/apparations

True, but remember Elf hero doesn't have loads of mana and even less spell power, and usually hero turn is better spent using bless or rapid, maybe even Rain of Arrows if Hero has that talent enabled.

As for druids, they only get 2 magic shots each, but again, often better to use stoneskin.

Apparations are going to be a real pain I think.
the ability would be fine if the attack was much lower when raised

cause hp get lower but that doesn't really matter cause you can miss
ghost: attack 4; defense 4; damage 3-7; hitpoint 8; speed 5; initiative 10
apparation: attack 4; defense 4; damage 4-6; hitpoint 19; speed 5; initiative 10

Essentially they only get mor hp in the upgraded version almost any other lvl 3 units gets more attack / def or dmg or speed or ini and in some cases even with more hp (look swordsmen/guardian).

The nec can probably raise 200 hp, this will result in only 5-6 raised apparations. These few raised units wont deal any damage at all simply because there are so few of them.

So basicly getting more hp is simply the worst "better" atribute a nec can look for - anything else would be far more superior.

So i tend to say: "No they are not to strong."
apparations are rubish. Look at some battles from the high level necromancers. None of them uses it. I would say they need to upgrade apparations to get some better initiative or attack.
