Since I'm too low level to post in the complaints(which is stupid...) I'll just post it here. Also if there is a quit button, I did not see one and I apologize for this post/rant.
THERE IS NO QUIT BUTTON!!! I entered a 4 player free for all battle, and it turned out that one of the players are afk. The another went afk. And the game was on 120 second rounds. I tried to quit by backspacing... wouldn't work, I tried closing the window and re- logging, but it took me straight to the battle again!
I can't do anything until the battle is over, which seems like it will take forever.The only thing that I figured out what to do is go on the forums, and I can only post in here!
I understand that a quit, or "run", button could cause some not needed issues, but I doubt people want something like this happening to them.
I have a suggestion on how it could work:
1) if you run from a battle while you still haven't moved yet (not counting setting up your armies)The player who ran receives a penalty in experience but the other player gains a small fraction of experience. Very little, probably only about 20 xp, so people do not abuse the loophole by multi- logging and such. If more turns are done the opposing player just gains a larger penalty, but the reward remains the same.
In a 3 or more player game, the runner receives a penalty, but the game goes on.
2) There should also be an afk rule, where if a player doesn't do anything for three or so moves, he automatically runs away and the above rules apply. Although the penalty shouldn't be too great.
