usually the player will afk at the beginning of the battle/hunt.
You might feel anger with that because of wasting your time.
But today, I met an "afker" that really pissed me off.

He is waste all the time at the troops settlement section until last few second and he said sorry for the bad connection.
During the hunt, he move about 1 or 2 stacks, then followed by 3-4 stacks wait until the time gone and he come back again to move his stack last few second before he out of battle.
I suspect that he is downloading something that making his bandwidth low and he didn't reply at all and finally he went to afk.
I PREFER HE AFK AT THE EARLIER STAGE RATHER THAN WASTING LOT OF MY TIME THEN ONLY HE WENT TO AFK.THE BATTLE TOOK ME MORE THAN 40 MINUTES AND I DECIDED NOT WIN THE HUNT EVEN I HAVE THE CHANCE.
THIS IS ALSO MY 1st AFK FROM THE 1300+ I HAD FOUGHT.

i know how frustrated i get when my connection suddenly lags and nothing loads and i have to keep trying to refresh and refresh
and some idiotic people will keep make fun of my com's spec or do not believe it was my connection's lag and assume i was afk and lying
so put yourself on others shoes | In hunts, every timeout is a long 120 seconds, that's 2 minutes times 5 in the least, or in the topic creator's case, fully 40 minutes. the 0.07 faction point is totally not worth it.
I think, if your current connection is really this unreliable (maybe location, wireless, dial up, downloading, whatever) maybe you should be considerate enough to avoid asking & joining hunt assists and group battles? | To straws: I do ask him try reset his connection and he didn't try that.
He said he call the broadband center there for the solution.Do you really believe that they can solve it within few minutes for you?
and I agree with MiyabiDoll. Players who had hunt with me before, most of them know that I'm like Fast Action and I never join any battle when my connection is not stable.
After this battle, I had more than 7 chances to join a hunt but I leave it to other peoples, why? Because I don't want to risk it and probably cause the hunter lose the battle with my -2 luck now. | Wow, I feel your pain. But I also find this impressive:

You are lucky as hell. I'd say that when I was in my group battle galore period, one out of three 3-3 battles ended as 3-2 because at least one player went AFK. Imagine what you'd feel if it happened to you during a single week. As usual, it was the lame guy playing without any artifact and not even daring to say Hi at the beginning of battle - or it was its only sign of life.
I totally agree with you: going "partly AFK" is even worse than AFK at all. Especially when people play painstakingly sloooowly (like, doing their move only when there is one second left) and missing 4 out of 5 turns... But not 5, as they would be AFK :)
Starting my own black list helped me vent off the anger. Founding the Warriors' Guild was another move to cool down =)

That sentence mean : I never go AFK and that hunt was really pissed off me and I went to AFK myself intentionally for the 1st time in this game.
Of course I had met some afk before but this time really made me felt anger with that. | my regard,pegasusfui..
