DO you guys think a high level demon with offensive talents should wear defensive arts and put all points into defense so they can survive the first hit and then deal out the damage on the second, or put all point into attack and get initiative arts to shoot/go first?

Against knights, magicians, (demons probably - depends on the demon)) and necros..defense. Because of their "meat".))
Imho.)) | | I'd get offense. your offensive talents are amplifying your attack by %. meaning if you have 10% extra attack and have a stack of 100 spawns attacking at 2-3 damage it does 25 extra damage, while if you do 1-2 damage (due to defense) it will only do an additional 15 damage. Things you kill don't hit back. and demons (other than their incendiaries) have a pretty good initiative and offense already. | Wondering about shooter tho...Succubi to shoot first and actually have a chance to show their power, you want initiative. If you just throw succubi and get tons of cerberi, incenderies and spawns, then maybe you still want initiative for your demons/incenderies? And I know to get offense talents, that is obivous...but your point into attack is fine, but if you miss first strike your missing a lot of power. Also, retribution, and two morale rings and morale medal, or should you just get thief rings/other 5% initiative ring -1 defense, and a pedant of despair (plus 1 attack, plus 1 defense, plus 5% initiative?
So, there is still a lot of options... |
