AuthorBest mini-arts/troop combo for wizards at level6.
Hi. Soon I will be at level 6 and will equip mini-arts on my troops. Just wondering what advice any level 6+ wizards have.
Should I use gremlin engineers?
How many magi?
What are the best bonuses for each stack?

My suggestion is :
7 mages not 8 so u can get more units and u only do 12 less dmg: 6 initiative (+2life if u can afford it)
16 golems so u have a unit that does alot of dmg with +5 def (or +6 def +1 luck attack if u can afford it)
31 garg so u have a lot of life to stay alive and cast spells with +6 def (+6def +6 attack if u can afford it)
Talent at erutidion and magic mirror. Often reset yr talents so u add yr skill where u want it my suggestion is in pvp use 3 spell power and 4knowladge(with arts 7spellpower 3 knowladge,7sp=spike does 36 and kills druits) and at hunts when u need to do fast dmg 4spell power 3 knowladge but mostly more usefull is 3sp &4knowladge
One question here.

Based on what Aparos suggested above, what happen to my free primary point (from Basic Erudation) IF i reset my talent to others ?
Thanks Aparos for the advice. But wouldnt defence and health be better for gargs? They only do small damage anyway and with health would last longer.
MeNoob if u have +1 to spell power from Basic erudation and u change yr talent to something else u will lose that skill but if u reset it and choose again basic erudation u will have 1 skill point to add anywhere u want.

I think atk + def is better for garg, due to its number and upgrade (enchanted garg), its actually quite a damage dealer besides your spells. With health and defend, its just a meat shield, your a goner if your mana cant kill all the monster.

I would buy simply just +6 defend for golem, they are just there to tank the neutrals longer before they hit your garg, they are too slow to be effective in offense, even if u get atk and luck for them, and the luck did not activated, when their next turn comes, their numbers will most likely to be less than half or whole stack gone.

For magi, i would go for morale + ini because i mostly do neutrals
You can go for ini + health, if u do alot PvP


For level 6, I went for 39 garg(s), 12 golems, 7 magi(s)

I kind of like my configuration: 39 gargoyles, 10 golems, and 8 magis. Although if you don't have the upgraded gargoyles perhaps you can do a max golem with gremlin engineers to repair them.

The enchanted gargoyles are awesome, because they can now do good damage. That one extra point in damage helps them go from a sole defensive unit to a defensive and offensive unit. So if you can, putting attack on the gargoyles would help alot (of course defense as well so they can last longer). Combine that with the rage ability and the amount you can recruit, they can do some good damage.

A strategy I used to save money on the mini artifacts is to put the best att/defense on the golems and the second best on the gargoyles. On combat lvl 5 and wizard lvl 4 I had +5 att/def on golems and nothing on gargoyles. When I turned combat lvl 6 and wizard lvl 5 I made more +5 att/def and put them on my gargoyles and made +6 att/def for golems. At faction lvl 6 (and hopefully I'll be around lvl 7 by then, I'll make more +6 att/def and then put them on gargoyles, sell the +5 att/def and then make +7 att/def for my golems.
gremlin enginneers r useless they do very little dmg in my opinion.

YuaNx i believe that 39 garg r good for mercenary quests and hunts but for PvP they arent so good cause golems do 3-5 dmg and garg 1-1 ( if we suppose that u dont have enchanted garg)
i still do 39 garg for pvp lols, in pvp, the enemy units would increase speed, i just keep running and cast magic/direct atk with hero, they will die b4 i die =)

check my combat log lols, i only do pvp when i am about to lvl o.o

amendments

the enemy units "wouldn't" increase speed, just aim those fast moving one first. Then u can play with their slower units heh. Usually can win before your mana depletes. However, i never fought demons before, so i not sure about how to deal with demons =X

I do mostly hunts and will start doing more merc quests so thanks for the tips YuaNx. :)
But wait don't you need diamonds to get enchanted gargoyles at level 6?

I think tat 'Optional' ? Cause diamond only get via donation, IF i not mistaken
Ok. I am still unsure about how to equip the magi. They have base morale of 1 so wouldn't initiative and health be a better choice for them? Or is initiative and morale really that much better in hunts?
