So my suggestion for group battles is to add check when somebody idles five times in whole battle, to kick him out.
Yesterday I had two battles, where at least on player played only one third of his turns.
He/they did not get kicked, because played the 4th turn.
Battle lasted more than 45mins. After that I had to go to lunch... | Other things that should help to have quicker battles:
Lessen timer for first move to 60s, and one turn to 20s
Add sound when yours turn starts. | How about 80% more experience if you use less time.
And 50% less experience if you were very slow to move.
This will make battles quicker. Also, server load will
be less, because fewer games will be active simultaneously.
Gameplay experience will be improved. People who afk often
will level slower and be filtered to lower levels. | Hi Durzek, seems you joined the game in mid-August... You are probably not aware of a number of things:
1. This topic has been beaten to death. Every possible solution has already been proposed, including yours. But it won't be implemented because of reason #2.
2. People have understood that admins barely maintain the game, if at all - once they implemented a few changes taken straight from the russian server and added the "donation" system, they are just here to take the money. They aren't even punishing cheaters, do you really think they care about anything? But then, why the Ideas and suggestion forum then? This leads us to reason #3...
3. The whole "Ideas and suggestions" forum is a joke. It has no use at all. It's just a mirror of the forum of the same name on the Russian server of HWM, as usual, and even over there it has little effect.
Cynical, me? noooot at all. Please continue posting and who knows, perhaps THIS TIME something will happen. =) | Maybe the admins aren't as maintaining as you want them to, I know they DO actually check the posts (on occasion).
Just because they have their own plans and ideas doesn't mean NOTHING is done. In any case, this game is free. It's optional to pay for it, and quite frankly, I think it's pretty well polished. Just because MEMBERS themselves go away and leave you waiting shouldn't be the fault of admins.
Sure, there should be better options instead of waiting 10 minutes for an afk player to get out, but that's just how it is right now.
Cynical? yes. But I fail to see its merit. | There's no merit in being cynical - it might just be a fun read for some people.
My advice is just to play and accept the game as it is, not expecting ANYTHING, because you won't get anything. Simple as that. Posts in the "Ideas and suggestions" forum are a complete waste of time.

Wow, I'm moved by such an implication. They DO actually check the posts, really? Are you sure? Don't waste my hopes, I'm nearly crying...

I fail to see the difference between "nothing" and their actual own plans and ideas. At least during the last month. Too cunning for me.

You can't defend idle admins and ask for improvement at the same time. Choose your side.
I'll believe they have a genuine interest in the game - beyond mere greed, of course - when they will AT LEAST address the hundreds of cheaters around. Or at least, well, do something. | The admins are not idle! Its July right?
btw: I do agree with 5 turns of idle and your out, not in a row. You wouldn't believe how many people idle 4 do a turn then idle 4 again |
