In Greek mythology, the Chimera (Greek Χίμαιρα (Chímaira); Latin Chimaera) was a monstrous fire-breathing creature of Lycia in Asia Minor, composed of the parts of multiple animals: upon the body of a lioness with a tail that terminated in a snake's head, the head of a goat arose on her back at the center of her spine. The Chimera was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and a sibling of such monsters as Cerberus and the Lernaean Hydra. The term chimera has also come to mean hard to believe or difficult to understand.

Also... in warcraft 3 frozen throne expansion... chimera is a purple + black dragon with three heads, its been awhile since ive played wc3FT but i think it shoots lightning out of the mouths...

Also... hydra grow two heads for every one you chop off, there is no set number of heads. (Yeah hydra is from greek mythology, witch ties into a bunch of other mythologies..)
Heracles killed it using fire from a torch to seal its wounds shut perminatly.
Ladon was just some hundred headed beast that guarded a apple tree... (hehe) | Also this topic was made for fun, that is why it is not in ideas and suggestions.
