Issue:
Admin never punishes people for AFK, because they do not know if it is due to connection problems. That is the reason they state. Fair enough.

Proposal:
If there is sufficient evidence from battlechat, where we can see that the person AFK'ed on purpose, admin can mete out a harsher punishment, in addition to the -2 luck that is automatically given.

(Here, its because he/she is obviously losing. This started as a random 3v3 battle. We were polite and we didn't taunt the enemy, until we figured that Critical1 was gonna AFK.)

There is EVIDENCE. We should be able to do something about it right?

Reason: (We all know this by now...)
1. AFK'ers waste time
2. AFK'ers waste arts durability
3. AFK'ers deprive the experience points that we should rightfully have gained from defeating their troops
4. Some AFK'ers has an AFK list of his own! They can't even live up to what they say, and are so shameless to judge others while committing the act! The sheer insolence, contempt and irony of it is utterly incredible.
5. AFK causes increased serverload. The server needs to handle many more simultaneous battles occurring.

Punishments:
To alleviate the difficulties/losses, some ideas of further punishment:
- AFKer should lose some experience (100 x Lvl^2)
- AFKer should lose some gold (100 x Lvl^2)
These should be divided equally amongst all the other people who took part in that battle.
Although this cannot return the precious time wasted, it will prevent further AFK in future.

I have worded this very carefully before posting here. AFK is a huge problem. I hope the admin here will take it seriously, translate this into Russian, to send to the Russian Creators, to allow this to happen.

I'm inclined to agree. Especially the part about getting some of their gold *mongermongermonger*

About AFK loosing xp - that's only a punishment on high levels, and ironicaly, AFK become a rare thing on 8+ On lower level (any levels, actually) loosing fsp is much worse. But I'm not sure it's possible to issue punishments automaticaly, and it's very time consuming to do so manualy.

I hope the admin here will take it seriously, translate this into Russian, to send to the Russian Creators, to allow this to happen.

If there is evidence of purposeful AFK you can post a complaint in CaA - it quolifies as staged combat.

3.16. Staged combats leading one of the parties to losing a priori will be punished for. A staged combat by definition is one where any one of the parties or party members intentionally loses to the other for any reason different from having technical problems with access to the game. Instigation to losing a combat is also forbidden.
In other on-line games there exists what is known as a 'connection meter' - it has 3 lights, when all are green it means everything is a go for that player. Simple solution, display this meter for all parties involved in a battle.


That way when you see someone is all green, you know that they don't have any connection problems and are just afk.
