Authorlosing vs winning
Hello
in this game, ive read some topics here
and i came to the conclusion that it is better to lose then to win right?
Because if i win, i get exp and less skillpoints, and if i lose i only get skillpoints and no exp
so i can get a higher faction level at a lower level and thats the main thing of this game right?
faction skill makes u stronger. exp, well we should all know wat that does. it is ur choice
The point of the game is to get experience and get higher combat level = you need to win. The only reason you want high faction skill + low combat level is to have a slighly higher chance to win against pvp battles of your level. The people that avoid experience though never do pvp because it gives experience so their playstyle is kinda pointless unless a tournament occurs.
But it is definitely not worth in my opinion,it because some factions will beat you anyway. You can be a wizard level 5 with faction skill 9 and still lose to a barbarian of level 5 with faction skill 4 100% chance for example.
And of course in PvM fights experience makes you a lot stronger than faction skill since you get a lot extra creatures over time.
ok...
I might just try it out and see how it works, but if i keep losing, my huntersguild stays 1, but i can increase it by helping others for hunts, i get a hunt point, but no exp
But so far there are no hunts that i can join, do i need a certain level or a certain hunting lvl to help someone with a hunt?
You need hunter's guild level 2 to ask for help, people in combat level 1 almost never have hunter's guild level 2. If you assist someone in a hunt you get +0.1 hunter guild points up to +0.25 faction skill points and no exp.
hm....
And what if i play elves now, i lose all the time, until my faction skill is 2 or something, and i still have 0 exp
then i change to knight or something, then i have an advantage because of the faction level of elves right?
You will have 3% damage reduction vs elves per elf faction level, all other faction levels only apply to elven faction troops so they will be gone till you switch to elf again.
The best way to play this game is to try to win normally but without much pvp in between. Experience from hunts is not very big you will get quite high faction skill by winning hunts + you will have a lot more fun than losing all the time.
Only if you fight against elves. Faction level 2 should give you 6% damage reduction from elf units or heroes. It does not apply to neutral armies or hunts, I think. And to answer the original post: no, it's pointless to intentionally lose fights. Why throw a fight for future victories when you can win now? XD
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
