| can someone try to explain how the basic and incentive prizes work? the explanation on About the game was a bit confusing. | After the tournament is over, the results are processed, winners defined and rewards distributed.
1) Empire sets the basic prize for every tournament.
2) The basic prize can consist of gold, artifacts and diamonds.
3) Half of all admission fees are added to the basic prize.
4) The other half of admission fees make up the incentive prize.
5) Heroes with maximum amount of victories split up the basic prize evenly.
6) Heroes with n-1 and n-2 victories get the 60% and 40% of the incentive prize respectively, where "n" is the maximum amount of victories achieved by any one player in the tournament of a certain level.
Okay... It's technical, but should provide all information you want about it...
Let me give you an example:
Tournament for level 5. Participation-cost is 1000 gold, and the basic prize is 50k gold and 50 diamonds.
Let us say that 40 people join the tournament.
They will pay a total of 40k in participation-fees.
Half of that is added to the basic prize: The basic prize is now 70k gold and 50 diamonds.
The other half of the participation-fees are added as an incentive award to those that comes in 2nd or 3rd. Thus making the 2nd place win 12k gold, and the 3rd place win 8k gold. |
