AuthorDruids and Magi spell damage question
Ok, I have seen many warlogs and I have noticed a curious thing...

1 druid = 20 dmg (lightning)
2 druids= 29 dmg (?)

Why doesnt it deal 40 dmg?

Same thing also happens to magis. (the bigger the stack, the lower spell dmg per magi)
Because damage from spells of creatures doesn't increases strait..

This is for magi:

so why not just split them into as many packs as you have room for in your list? seems like it would do more damage and let their turn come faster
yes, and u get more hit's. that is wat most people do
hmm. I see. But that doesnt really sound fair to me. I wonder why this game rule is formed, instead of allowing the increase of damage to be straight?

If the magi or druids are splitted into many small stacks, while they do more damage with magic punches, they could become vunerable to earth spikes, spray attacks, archer's volley, fireball, meteor shower, and chain lightning, so it kinda balanced out.
in battle, you can only split your troops to 7 stacks.
if you have 9 druids, for example, and have straight lightning damage, they will do 180*2 damage. This is way too dangerous for the opponent. but if follow the rules, you can split the druids 1-1-1-1-5 if you don't bring sprites and FKs together. Then the damage will be 129*2. this way the game will be more balanced. Of course magi too.
dont forget that druids have more hitpoints than magi
one question,

at lvl 5 what spells do magi have apart from magic punch?
Dispersion, basically just removes magical effects on a stack >.> pretty useless lol

No it is not useless. Sprites have it too. It is especially useful in dispelling enemy stoneskin, bless, or dispel poison and darkness spells on your own units. I like using it on hunts against poisoners or such.

Magi actually can do magic punch 3 times (druids can do lightning twice) and magic punch ignores magic-proof from Barbarian or special units, also its physical so it has no element. Magi have less health but greater recruit rate then Druids. Another fact: a magi can kill another in battle when it may attack before the other can.
Ummm... I think number of units = spell power. Well, it correct for duration spells 4 druids will cast 4 turn of stoneskin. Thats what I got from my battle observation... But I don't know the formula for unit's damaging magic
