If you're here to build a strong hero for the later levels, hunts will make you stronger more quickly. | | I havent had a battle with another player for ages i have just logged in done a hunt then logged out and whem im level 3 hunter if im not level 5 i will start doing battles | ive never done a duel or a group battle

- faction skill level 3
So, personally, i think its definitely worth it | *"edit"
look this guy, hes a lvl 4 knight with racial skill 2 (so no hunts just straight leveling)
Im a lvl 3 knight, and i have better, yes better!, units
(one swordsmen more and 1 farmer less) | Just do the math!
Beside the +1 Attack-Bonus per hunterlevel and money and hunting-items, there is an other "bonus":
On a hunt you gain only 1/5th XP and 1/2 faction-points
=> that means that hunting increases your faction-level by 80% more (compared to your Character-level)
=> ok, you level slower but raise your stats
=> higher stats => better chances to win battles
(f.ex: I could have been a level 4 Necro with Hunter-level 3 on combat level 4
=> My unites have an attack of +3 (hunter) +2 (race), Def +1 (race) and Ini +2% (race)
=> people who simply level their combat-level, will have much lower stats and are very easy to defeat...)
If you do not belive me, compare f.ex. "GroKiki" with mine (Gryphon)
(GroKiki is blocked for breaking rules, so it should not matter to name him here) | This is true. However, it is tedious, and if you are here just to have some fun, I recommend just doing PVPs. If you are here to be the best, do hunts all the time. Just remember that it'll take a long time.
Remember: The point of a game is to have fun. No one is forcing you to always do hunts. If you want to do PVP, than do it. It's usually more fun, with much more strategy. The disadvantage of getting low levels is offset by the fact that you will lose sometimes too, and if you get too disadvantaged, losing a lot will somewhat make your levels higher. And although you may not get the best character, you will get the most fun. And it's the fun that matters, doesn't it? |
