Authorquestion about number of creatures in raid

does the number of creatures you face in a raid vary according to the faction you have?

here's an example

i got 20 treefolks in a raid{0}

and Zyanya got 15 of them in a raid {0}
https://www.lordswm.com/warlog.php?lt=-1&warid=5241000

so is the number random?

or does it vary according to faction? maybe elves get less cause they can't use racial ability vs treefolk?

I'll also like to add a question to this...

would the number of creatures also depend on the numbner of your own units you take in to combat?

for example here's a treefolf raid {0} on .ru by lv 7 elf:

he has the rally talent, so more units...and he gets 17 treefolks.

The one I did which gurumao posted above, I got 15 of them...I'm also lv 7 elf but without rally talent.
