Radical game improvment

Hello,

I find this game one of the best browser games thus why i want to make my suggestion

Generally with my suggestion ppl will not need to create multi characters and high lvl players will be able to fight against low lvl players without having any big advantage.

A) To begin one would need to introduce a new system called AS "army strength" (it will be similar with the ap-artifact points)
The AS will increase with the total army strength, the talent points used(every 5 points=1 AS) and the skill points(talent skill points will not count)

I am not sure how AS will count the army strenght , all suggestions are welcome. My idea is that for every tier unit u use u get +1 (tier1+2=AS 2) also there will be a limit of the max number u can get for each tier unit , which might differ from unit to unit. For example u would be able to have 20skltons or 10 faeries at AS-1 and u will be able to have 30skltons or 16 faeries at AS-2

lvl 1 player will have as=1

3 3
4 4
5 7
6 8
...

A player for example of lvl 5 will be able to adjust his army and reduce his AS from 7 to 4, like that he will be able to fight or help a lvl4...

B) Changing factions will vanish instead u will be able to change castle and hire heroes like the original game.

For example we can make it once a player reaches lvl5 he will be able to buy 1 more hero&castle. At lvl 10 he will be able to 1 more hero and castle . This player will be able to choose from any faction he wants. Once he chose the new hero instead of viewing the old castle he will view the new castle . The hero will be lvl1 and the new castle will have no buildings built.

Buildings like market and smith which are none faction buildings and common to all factions, will have to be built only once.

The 2 heroes will be able to change units between them but there will be a limit defined by the AS and the racial skill. For example a lvl1 hero will not be able to take the tier 3 unit from the lvl5 hero.
Like in the original game, if u have units from 2 factions u will have natural morale, if u have units from 3 factions u will have -1 to morale. Undead dont have morale and the army who has undead units with them will get -1 to morale.

If u lose a fight with a hero then instead of waitting u will be able to play with yr other hero.



This is still a work in progress so i am happy for every idea that might help it on the way?
This sounds like good idea to me. It would stop multis and people would have no ned for them. If the admins set it up so you couldnt transfer between Hero 1, Hero 2 and Hero 3 then the admins can just delete all players on the same IP address except for familys etc...

Also it could be added that family play under the same account name but you get an extra 3 factions. This way no one can be falsly accussed of cheating.
Though an intersting idea it has some problems.

A lvl 5 mage is *way* more powerful than a lvl 4 mage because of magic arrow spell (and talent giving a potential 2 extra skill points), for example. So even if a lvl 5 mage had the same forces as a lvl 4 he would still be much stronger.

There are many other complexities that would be hard to work out, not impossible, but more than just a little simple code and math.

The main idea of AS is not to battle with lower lvl players but to allow u to customize your army.

For example if u have a lvl5 wizard u will be able to create a new hero lets say elf. If u play the elf hero and lvl him up u will be able to give to yr main hero some druits if u decrease the number of mages ( u will get a morale penalty -1)

This will allow every player to make his own strategy .

PS: if a lvl5 wizard wants to fight the lvl4 wizard with the extra skill points (1 from talent and 1 from lvling) he will be forced to have less army as i already wrote:

this idea is good. I always hope to have shrews and magi together.
I would rather shrews and cerberi
idea don't seem to be too bad.
but it would be a hard work to do it.
especially if you want to keep a balanced game.

there will be lots of problems with this:
imagine a wizard level5, 2nd castle: elf.
he don't recruit any wiz troops, he takes only elves troops with his wizard hero (sprites or fk, elven bowmen, druids).
it's like if he was an elf, but when hero's turn comes, he casts a big magic arrow instead of doing a weak attack.
Karsot i know that the idea is hard to work but in my opinion it will improve the game a lot...

A wizard hero using elf units , like the original game will have -1 to his morale. If u have lvl5 hero wizard and u only want to use elf units u will need to get yr elf hero to lvl5.

Besides, if u dont like this idea we can make it so that there is a limit to the units that u will be able to get.Lets say that u r able only to get 1 unit(druits for examble)
This Can be a good idea!
This seems to be an interesting idea, but if something goes wrong it would wreak havoc on game balance.
Not to diasppoint you, but I don't think it will ever be implemented - way too risky.
Still, I find it rather innovative. Who knows, maybe admins will take a look and like it too?)
