i want to make two suggestions for the "hit and run tactic"

because for now, it just sucks
The enemy gets suddenly +1 speed, you dont know when, you travel outside of their range and they still hit you
So if you go over the enemy with your mouse, it shows their range, but why not let it show the range of their NEXT turn
so you wont fail again because you "thought" you were outside, but actually you were still in

And 2:
Let us scroll on the ATB bar, how do we know if we have another turn before they get their turn, its just guessing in the beginning!!
yea, i agree with the Sven91 about the ATB bar. If we could scroll on it and see what the line-up is farther along, then it would be easier for us to come up with strategies.
I also agree with the ATB bar idea...
I disagree. These two things would uncover too much of the game program. You could play the script and nothing surprise you. It is like a luck counter. Wouldnt it be nice for a player to know exactly when the lucky strike occurs?
for 1st idea:
it is made to prevent hit and run tactic. And now you want the system that prevent hit and run tactic not to prevent it? How strange. Why dont just ask to delete the +1 speed then?
every 10 combat turn increases speed by 1
for 2nd idea:
yeah i also agree
then just run one square further.simple as that

This has nothing to do with luck. Those 2 aspects (speed increase and ATB) are not random at all and the way they work is not secret. Sven91's suggestions wouldn't spoil anything, it would only make it easier for players to deploy whatever strategies they have in mind.

for iron_eagle:
It is made to prevent the hit and run tactic by having them eventually catch you. Knowing when they will catch you doesn't change actually change that. After all, it is standard and known to all. The only difference is that instead of calculating the time of change yourself the game would provide that for you.

All in all, I'm all for those 2 ideas.
I am just curious with the forumula of increasing speed .. i mean every how many turns the speed increased ??

hit and run is only for shrews and rogues to make up for loss of range so no
