AuthorMore sources of income
If there is one thing that the designers of this game did not import from the 'Heroes of Might and Magic' series, it is the variety of income opportunities in those games. No wonder that at combat level 7 and above it is becoming impossible to save gold (I have already purchased my share of diamonds, more than what I would pay for a game in the shops).

I would like to suggest:

1) forts and citadels provide increased income e.g. 1000 gold per day for forts, 1500 gold per day for citadels

2) rewards for hunts are increased by at least 100%

There are obviously more possibilites, but I feel these two should be easy enough to implement.
Yeah, StorminMerlin, you are right, but there's a little problem: if you were an administrator, would you like to lose the opportunity to lose some money for giving the people a more equal way of play?
And i must say that i say this without any sign of upsetting about that... the world goes in this direction, why this game must go in an other one?
first, giving money per day might provoke multis, so i say not really good idea.
Just put it in a separate category, untransferable? But then you just buy an art, sell it and viola...idk

number 1 is bad, when you say that, but number 2 is ok

Yeah, because there are a lot of level 7 multis... lol

If you reach this level, it's really impossible to claim a pg "MULTIS"... it's a new one, not a simple "helper". By the way, transfer can be watched, right?
I like both ideas. That won't prevent players from buying diamonds, I think it will actually increase it. The more user friendly the game is the more people will want to contribute to it. Those that don't pay now won't pay no matter what, they will just stop playing.

Also, I don't think it will be too hard for the admins to create a script that prevents any kind of transfer between multis altogether unless granter special permission by them.
Arioch, you're right.
Luckas -
Yup buddy you're right it's all about greed and making diamonds, so I don't really expect to see these changes happen.

Arioch - I agree, 100%. I am unwilling to buy more diamonds, even if it means I can't continue playing. I would be willing to buy more if my whole LWM existence did not depend on them!
Why not just double the wage for enrolling or sinking the needed points to achieve a higher guild level (laborors guild, of course)
it would only be fair since you will have to wear arts in every battle
but doubling (or whatever) the hunters reward would be really nice too
spending diamonds for gold is dumb. just buy 80, buy a thief invite and sell it
80 diamonds (x2500g)= 200.000 gold
you can sell a thief invite for more (or rent it)
More money is one solution...

Mine is reduce prices on everything; arts, upgrades by 50 %

And the diamond system is a RIP OFF why should we pay hard currency for very little return??

And the server owners are living for your happy smile, they dont need money, in fact, the server is owned by a Good Fairy that lets us all play free 24h a day.
In fact the diamond upgrades are not so necessary, you must try harder, but for most factions it gives only a slight advantage.
I like the idea of having alternate ways of making money if only for the diversity of the game. Possibly not based on the player's fort or keep though. I'd be interested in possible finds for normal Hunts, such as skinning a wolfhound for its pelt then selling it off to the market, or removing the horn of a unicorn, etc. However this is quite a large project to persue and don't expect much from it. Again though, I think it'd be an interesting dynamic.

For #10. 'Greed' is quite a strong word for someone playing a FREE game. There are plenty of browser based games out there that rely on their players' income. LWM has given you a chance to play, don't bite the hand that feeds you of your gaming cravings. Yes there are times that players may not get what they want the second they want them, but how fun is a game without challenges??
i like the idea of a fort or something to give you money per day, but thats only cause of the new thing of having to have a weapon and AP eaqual to your lvl to fight. I have 5 different accounts, and before this new rule i dint have money problems but now im seeing my money drop between all 5 because arts are expinsive and dont last long to eaqual there price in hunts and trying to play a good match with other players.

But, i dont like the idea of people transfering from other accounts to just one so they dont run out of money. If that can be done, then it would improve the game even now, something to keep players from transfering from lower ones to a main one is unfair to players who work hard to earn it the right way.

And i like the idea of more ways to earm money other than hunts and laboring, cause laboring can only be done once an hour, hunts once every 40 mins, why not something to earn resourses or a small amount of gold between 20-30 mins. Something thats fun and keeps a player occupied one one account instead of switching when the finish everything that can do on that one?
1000 gold per day for forts and 1500 gold per day for citadels are not much, but still a good idea.

Such little subsidy can ease off dissatisfied due to AP rule.
but for example you'd be rich from a longggg vacation XD

This is a good revulsive, can let high Lv. leaver return to play this game after a space.
