I don't agee with you this time. I've been very critic on something in the past, but this time we have a real upgrade to the game, something that make the game more various. It'e even a way to SPEND your money, not to make more gold.
The Empress asked for "our help", she is not offering us a work. To earn money you have to work in the facilities (or offer if you want and if you can). There are even a few ways of doing some coins if you are a good merchant.
The new quest is a way to spend them and enjoy the game. Really, this time I don't understand you.
I'll try to explain my point of view another time. This new quest it's the same as for the thieves' guild. It's expencive? Of course! But what are you making gold for? Not to play the game? You cannot change game-gold into real money.
When you start the game it's funny to do hunts and to play duels and group battle. But afther a few time it's getting a bit boring. When you reach lvl 5 you have a chance with mercenary quest too, then at lvl 6 you can try to join thieves' guild... Now we have even this opportunity to play. In the future, I'd like to see many others way to spend the gold.

in one of the dragon battles i did one of my partners lost and he got like 125 or so more gold so maybe if u chose to livce or die with one unit left maybe u choose die
but not me:) |
| Deadweights who think that contributing to a team effort is not worth it becuz of cost don't deserve the possible new update. I was like this too, but the exp gain was quite good. |

Pier and lighthouse now needs only 400 of each resource instead of 4000!!
