Is it me or we hit the worst of this game?
It's you. (Easy, I know...) | They don't have fixed wages and prices- that's why the ones in the Great Capitol make less. It's just a slow process.
We have two new areas, earnings are up enormously, and yet some people will whine the game is ruined. I'm betting no matter how easy the game is, some people will whine that it should be even easier. Group hunts make it slightly tougher to get records, because of the tiny chance that your fight will be in a group. On the other hand, getting rid of 1/3 and 2/3 hunts makes it slightly easier to get records, because now there's no chance that when you're going for the record against swordsmen and you face swordsmen, that they'll be a small group. Yes, we have a minimum AP. Decent players are also earning another 100 GP an hour from the buildings. Still whining.
Yes, there are transition difficulties. People who had buffed themselves up to a high racial level to win tournaments will be a hassle until the admins do something about them. People who had stockpiled huge amounts of money because there was nothing worth spending it on are now cornering markets. However, it won't stay cornered for long.
But in general, this means you have to use strategy. Things like, oh, keeping a few resources around to buy a replacement weapon before you actually need the replacement weapon. And not doing easy hunts if the money isn't worth it. Deal with it. Or don't. But I can't say that I'll actually be reading any more of the whining. | for Shebali:

I am not a kid and I didn't have the impression I acted like a boss here. I just asked what I thought was logic to ask in such a moment: about the word War in the name of the game? I just needed a little bit of help here because I am really confused about what this game is intended to be. And "shut up" coming from you, I don't know, but, in my understanding, they are pretty rude to speak them when you don't know the person.
On the other hand, maybe I wasn't clear enough. I said intelligent and not "intelligent". The second expresses sarcasm and irony. When I said intelligent, I underlined the fact that me, I am unable to understand the logic behind these new rules, and not calling in some other bad ways people who deposited so much effort in implementing the rules. I don't understand your offence in that.
So, please, admins, moderators, players, help me to understand the logic behind these rules because I am totally unable. I am just blocked trying in finding logical reason for which these rules were introduced. If somebody can help me to get into the light here, I could find a reason to play and stop posting. (now, I am doing the opposite)

the minimum ap rule is making me very mad i cant even do a dragon quest (which i love) because i dont have enough for a good sword this ap rule is going to drain evry essense of life (money :D)strait out of me in less than 2 weeks a bet . | I agree, today was my last game.

Elrondelf | So then what's the point of gold? To store it in your basement, never to be used? You have gold to use it-it's not like having more gold will give you a higher racial level. We have NO BANK, and so we can't really save money either, so how is using it bad?
Gold is MEANT to be spent.

If that's not fixed in your vocabulary, then I can see why you call a question "whining". Thanks for your reply anyway. | In all online games like this the good player and the bad player usually have 1 major difference: the good player knows how to adapt to changes, the bad player doesn't. And changes happen all the times in online games. People that don't like changes and interactivity can have extreme amounts of fun playing one of the very nice single player games out there.
For someone that likes the heroes of might and magic games this game is amazingly good, and the changes are not really affecting the base gameplay that makes it so good.
Regarding this whole issue about minimum ap: I am at level 9 atm and i am forced to use 9AP. That's say for a wizard: combat staff + defender shield, 80 gold/battle + 30 gold/battle respectively. That's a grand total of 110 gold/battle. Which of course is a ridiculous cost compared to what a level 9 character earns...
And if you want a reason for this change, i can give you at least two from the top of my head: a) Flavour. Try to recall in how many role playing style games or strategy games people fight without a weapon / some gear. b) Economy. For a long time on this server facilities were dead. People only worked on mining facilities most of the time simply because the production ones never had any gold ( because noone bought the items ). And of course that meant noone would buy stuff from machining facilities to sell to production so he can work. The way i see it , this change is very nice and will eventually lead to a self-sustained economy. Of course there have to be more changes ( = more facilities, more areas , more artifacts ) to achieve that, but according to the news that's what's exactly going to happen soon...
I had stopped playing this game for some time cause of no updates. These new stuff, good or bad, are a signal that the game is alive and going. It's normal that some people won't like the changes and leave the game and go play something else. But in the same manner others will come replace them, people that will find the changed game interesting. That's natural way of things in the internet.
So instead of accusing each other/ accusing admins and whining, i would suggest everyone to evaluate what he likes and what he doesn't like and act accordingly. Post your opinions once = more than enough for people to see what you believe. | | I really wonder why people are complaining, the new AP rule has been in effect for what? 20 hours at max and we have an ongoing event offcourse events like this disrupt an economy. The way I see it you currently have 2 choices either you keep on complaining (I bet some of the people against the AP rule/event are the people who were whining the most for changes) or you can try to enjoy the event and changes and see how it all turns out after a month. Complaining is easy | I would like to thank all the people who tried to help me understand these rules. Unfortunately, still, I fail to understand them, so, it's time for me to hit the road.
