30-60 seconds is too long for a combat. It also creates afkers as people lose focus and do other stuff during that period.

To up gameplay i suggest that there be options to reduce the time to 15 seconds or at least 20 sec.
I can't state how much afkers spoil a battle even one skipped move could determine between victory and defeat.

30 sec is okay, and no one's making you create/join 1 min battles...

What I would like to see is reduced turn time in hunts and ambushes...

when its your turn, you have to check which monster you attack, then attack, lol
what do you want? a 10 sec timer? then you are 100% sure that everyone times out

And in a group combat, i think everyone does other things during combat, that sound for your turn isnt implented for fun

I dont think so.People need to think like "Should I take the risk of that or this?
i think the timer for ambushes should be higher, i'd love to make those annoying bugger wait 5 mins for 1 turn :F
30 seconds is just fine..
what if, accidentally your computer reboot or disconnected..
if in 15-20 seconds timer..
you'll be doomed, and fled from the battle..
and keep in mind not all gamers here have good computer
and good internet connection, sometimes
30 seconds is not enough.. "sometimes.."
For ambush, i agreen.
For pvp, 30 or 45 second is ok. (need time to think)
i would say change the min to 45. 30 sec is suk when you get some accident like restart pc and so on

less than 30 secs, we would make lots of bad moves due to lack of time.

for exemple, i'm level6DE, when it's my poisoners turn i have to do all this:
-1 : look where my poisoner will be on the ATB if i wait (if he can play just after enemies, he will wait, then attack to take retal)
-2: choose where to attack.
i don't always remember wich stacks are poisoned, if i want to inflict poison to a new unit, i must look at enemies stack by control+click them before shooting.
-3: if i decide to go to melee, i must be careful of my placement (my others creatures will come to melee too, and i don't want to block them with the poisoner stack)
i need to find where to place all my other melee troops before moving poisoners.

i need at least 20-25 seconds to make the optimal move with poisoners.
with a shorter timer, they would do stupid actions instead.
poisoners are just an exemple, i need sometimes lot of time to play my others creatures.

sometimes i need time to do my maths before attacking.
for exemple i have a stack of 15 rogues, there is a stack of 12 modern golems on the other side. should i attack? to answer i must control+click rogues, control+click modern golems, compare my attack and their defense to know how many golems i will kill, then compare their attack and my defense to know how many rogues i will lose with the retaliation...this needs a lot of time.

i need at least 30 seconds for most battles, merc quest would be terribly difficult with a 15 sec timer.
and for PvP, some factions would be advantaged by low timer: for exemple with low timer demons don't have time to decide if they must attack or gate, but elves don't need to think a lot before playing their bowmens.
Hello implementing a 20sec option is not forcing you to use it, wth? It's an option, those with good pcs can use the the 20sec option those with sucky pc's can use the 30secs. It's not forcing EVERYONE to use it.

What's wrong with having an extra option?
