If you don't want shortages you set the stock to infinity, but obviously they didn't. |
The system was not created that way to always have shortages, the point obviously was to create a living-breathing economic model that would ensure that all facilities need to operate in order for it to work. Of course there are in all aspects of life those that will not hesitate to make everybody's life miserable for their own profit. Still, since this is a GAME, thus supposed to be FUN, some measures ought to be taken. The idea proposed is a great one, in fact I had proposed a similar idea in another topic but this one is probably more operational.
Admins ought to consider this seriously if they want to make a profit out of this game. If the game cannot deliver it will probably whither to oblivion. And a "FREE online game" that forces you to pay in order to be competitive simply will not do. Of course that's just MY point of view. Others may think otherwise. |
22: i agree 100% with part1.
i disagree with part2: i think it's not too hard to play lordswm without paying real money. |

We are on the same page here too. What I'm saying in that 2nd part is more referred to the future of the game. So far you are right. But the new AP rule will force players to buy arts often, thus greater demand for resources and more pressing at that. Shortage then becomes much bigger a problem than it was up to now and I don't think we have seen the full effect of it yet. I might be horribly wrong and I hope I am. But if not, countermeasures should be considered and ready to be put into effect before it becomes too big. |
I know that Admin wants to see the economic running well enough so it can support itself without any intervention. I know, that many of us suppose to work in mining facilities and buy nothing from market. If we do this, Traders will soon run out money to buy Resources, and we can buy from the mining facilities (I think 3-4 days should be enough)
But the problem is..... it isn't working (at least for now), and it needs intervention right away, because many players already frustrate with the current condition.
Last time I checked, someone has 499 Mercury and hundreds of players has nothing :((
I am not complaining, because I can afford it (if I really need it). But hundreds players can't. So, I really suggest that Admin does something to fix this ASAP. |
i love this feature, again it doesn't mean the traders are out of business, cause many people dont wanna work for the shift to end, but at least we all have a choice, put some effort in it or put some gold in it.
great function |

I don't think it should even be able about whether someone can afford it or not on the open market. The entire issue is that players can't buy the resources at shift end. Not everyone has scripts, fast internet connections, and/or can click fast. 499 Mercury? Fusei right? I saw her with 399 mercury with 100 on the market.
I agree Admins need to intervene right away. And I don't mean just dumping a few thousand resources like they keep doing every few days. This won't do anything because a few rich players can just buy everything up. Then people would start camping shift end just like right now.
I just think Admins need to somehow permanently increase scarce resource production.
1. Dynamic wages.
2. Dynamic productivity.
3. Letting workers buy their own production.
My original idea was 3rd one because the first two would require a lot of tweaking and can get complex. I believe letting workers be able to buy their own production would increase production of scarce resources whichever resource that is at the moment and helps distributes resources to those that need them the most. If players need something, then they have the option of working in that mine to get it. This leads to overall resource production increase in the game and discourages shift end campers that hoard resources for profit.
And yes, I admit to hoarding, but I only do this because I can't buy resources at the shift ends. |
can't you people see it pantheon's idea is the best take like swamill in silent hill enrolling their gives you 175g (atleast i get 175g) and wood costs 184g their so after enrolling 2 times you have enough gold to buy it but his idea is: to let you chose do i want the gold or do i want it to save it so that i can buy wood (in this case)
his idea is best ^^, |
Hope admins are reading this
it just not fair resources and arts are gobbled up fractions of a second after shift-end. |
