don't be fooled by the art.
it looks like there's a good amount of tears in the locket, but really it's just 1-2 tears in each one. those cheap lockets are watered down.
the unicorns don't need any special items or methods to shed the needed tears. they just blink a few times and bam, there's your tears. |

Some dark witches probably whipped the unicorns while riding them, hence the tears, and the witches got banished to the dark elves faction as punishment |

| the rercuit came at the back of unicorn and then poke the unicorn to make it cry.Then the recruittook the tear to some hero that have the ice clod spell . The hero then summon the ice clod spell on top of the tear OR he use liquid nitrogen at the tears. |

Well, if we compare the recruitment count for elven bowmen and dark witches, we can see that only a small percentage of them turned to the darkside, and they probably kept some tears for themselves, hence their ability to cast spells, and shoot magic-like projectiles instead of arrows :) |

maybe some Mercenary hunter hunt them and force their tears and sell to the artifact shops.
wondering now if there's a black market on it:)
maybe the thief guild 3, thief leader trust is to let u in some hidden black market??
