Take a look at this battle (only the end)
The hydras suddenly move down behind the cactus, and in their next turns they "wait" but they dont attack me :S ?
then i waited with all my troops to see if he would wait again, and yes, the hydras did wait again
I couldnt see if he kept waiting, because those Grandmasterbowmen auto shoot on the hydras, so they were killed before their next turn
But, this was like a free merc quest :P, hydras that are stuck ^_^ |

| All vanguard creatures have an unhealthy fixation on the target stack and rather move a bit closer to it than attacking your units and since attacking your druid would have meant to move away from the target stack the hydra just stayed were it was. |

| This is classified as a feature rather than a bug =) There's nothing wrong with it technically, Hydra are "waiting for the obstacle to get away", it can be used, if you know how to use it. This is very improbable to ever get fixed. |
