Where people actually can play which results in conloss to server during fights is especially anoying(though i suspect alot people is metagaming with multi accounts, im pretty sure some goes afk due to the real bad server.
I know you adressed alot of things you wanna change, and new addons and so on, but imo ebfore you put more load on a server or webappl, you should make the currently work.
I know many people is really anoyed over this latency, and its people with insanely good network, so really not people who are used to loose connection because they gotta send/revieve few bits and bytes.
Anyway i really hope this is one of the issues you ahve toppriory on over new classes and stuff that will only load the game even more than it is atm. |

same thing happened to me, today i lost 2 winning games because of loosing connection and the third was so close to..
could it be that the internet explorer isnt wanted anymore or is it the servers! |

I even had to go afk in a hunting ... I could not load the battelfield .. always reached 20% and then waited too long and had to reset from 0% again ..
TO ADMIN : please pay attention to this prob. I have an IDEA to change the DRAGON image at LOADING the battlefield to JUST A LABEL how many percent the battlefield is done ...

| i have a great connection, but the last couple days it takes ages to load any page but only here. any other webpage i go to is loaded in the blink of an eye. its to the point to where i cant do battles when the server is like this because by the time the battle is loaded its already past the setup stage and my army is not how i would've wanted it. its also getting very annoying to have to buy like 6+ of a resource because by the time the enrolling page loads up somebody else has already gotten the job that i paid to get. that never happened to me when the server is normal. i work an odd schedule and my time for playing this game is somewhat limited so it is disheartening when i have set aside some time to progress my character and i can't do anything because of the lag. |
| Maybe not to do any battles till the Page loaded fast ... just working and working .. maybe some maitenance or update .. |

due to the server lag, the players online has dropped from 1300+ to around 1100.....

| we could do without the useless banter of NPCs in hunts and do we really need photo albums? with myspace, facebook, photobucket, google images, etc do we need to bog down the system with pictures you can see almost anywhere? i had been hoping the lag was because they were adding the next bit of the current events. (its been a couple weeks, mages should be home, right?) but that is obviously not the case because add-ons have only made the server lag for a short period of time in the past, not every day. i had been wanting to get a hunters license, ie: buy diamonds, but what is the point in this lag? if i can't fight battles getting hunts 50% faster is useless so its not just bad for us, its bad for admin as people are less likely to donate when they can't play. |
Hi admins and mods, like many other players, I'm experiencing a latency issue with the game as well. This has definitely affected our gaming experience, and has caused some frustration among players, as referenced from above-mentioned posts. I, or I suppose everyone, would like to hear an official reply on what is causing this latency issue, and the corrective actions that are currently taking place, so that some of the players here can take a much more understanding perspective towards this situation.

From my perspective, this sounds very rude and sarcastic, and not to mention those unnecessary caps. In addition, what does that have to do with the lag issue? |
Maybe too many battles at one time, then The Server REALLY HAS LIMIT .. ^^
for God5end: Hmm, thx a lot for the critize .. but I just wanna state my opinions clearly .. About the CAPS .. the capped Words mean the Key Words .. then the players here and the Admins will read it Clearly and catch my main Ideas fast .. About the dragon Image, it will make loading faster .. ^^ coz the data transferred from the server will be less .. ^^

from the title, it say. awful latency in the evening.
My question is : when is the evening?
In my country, evening means around 14:00 server time. i do get lag most at that time. |

| at this time (see the time you posted next to the number of your post) i have experienced little to no lag. but this is just the time i kill before i go to work. 'evening' is the 16:00 17:00 18:00 etc server time. at those times i am crippled as to what i can do. pretty much limited to enrolling. i tried joining a card game yesterday during the lag (since i couldnt battle) but just ended up angering the other player as the lag was no better there. he thought i was playing very slow when in actuality i would click a card and then 5 to 10 seconds would go by while the server was slowly processing my command. in a couple instances i clicked a card and 30 seconds would go by then my turn timer ran out and it auto discarded instead of making the move i had made. and yes i am sure i clicked the card because when you click your card the cursor turns from an arrow into an hourglass. i clicked the card, it turned into the hourglass and the timer counted down and discarded. |
